Al-Qaeda May Launch Cyber Attack on Financial Sites, Warns US

The U.S. government issued a warning to American private financial services of a possible cyber attack by an Islamist militant group, reportedly associated with al-Qaeda, against online stock trading and banking Web sites beginning on Friday. However, the Department of Homeland Security said there was no evidence of imminent danger.
