TOKYO —Comedian Gekidan Hitori, 31, will be serve as a news presenter in the new program “Manaberu!! News!” on the TV Asahi network from October. The program will feature trivia stories related to recent news events.
Gekidan Hitori said, “I am looking forward to the challenge of working on a live news show.” A producer said Gekidan Hitori was chosen for the role because of his talent as a comedian, actor and author.
