It was revealed on the 7th that model Haruna Kawaguchi (14) will make her debut as an actress on Fuji TV's Monday night drama Tokyo Dogs. She will play the role of Takakura Karin, sister of elite detective Takakura Sou played by Oguri Shun (26). Karin is a 17 year old high school girl who meddles in her brother's life because she cares for him.
Before crank-in, she told Daily Sports in an interview,"I'm appearing in a drama, it feels like a miracle." At the moment, she says she is practicing her lines everyday while in the bath or on the futon.
Kawaguchi could not contain her excitement co-starring with the two ikemens, Oguri and Mizushima. "I saw Oguri-san in Hana Yori Dango, Hanazawa Rui was so cool... I'm really nervous. I love Mizushima-san too!"
Kawaguchi is a model for teen magazine 'nicola'. She has starred in commercials for Mitsui Rehouse and Pocari Sweat. Presently, she is a third year junior high student in Nagasaki and plans to travel to Tokyo during weekends for shooting.
