Korean girl group Wonder Girls will return home from the U.S. this weekend to prepare for a much-awaited performance. The band recently wrapped up shooting the made-for-TV film "Wonder Girls at the Apollo," which is slated to air next year.
An official at their agency JYP Entertainment said, "The Wonder Girls have been very busy with various commitments including the TV film. If everything goes as planned, they will arrive in Korea this weekend to get ready to meet their Korean fans again."
Competition in the local K-pop scene looks set to become heated next month as Girls' Generation, Orange Caramel and T-ara are also planning to promote their new albums.
