Hong Kong Ballet fund

Carina Lau Ka Ling and Bernice Liu Bik Yi were among the attendees of a Hong Kong Ballet fund raiser last night. She said that she had dance experience, but because she was born in the Mainland she was unable to study ballet. Thus in the future when she would have a chance she hoped for her daughter to study ballet and music instruments. Ka Ling said, "I have to perform the Tango in the new film, I have been working very hard on lessons and danced pretty well. (Have you asked your husband Tony Leung Chiu Wai to be your partner?) He indeed dances well because earlier in HAPPY TOGETHER (CHUN GUONG JA SIT) he danced with (Leslie) Cheung Kwok Wing. When we were dating we would dance as well. I thought it was very romantic." Recently Ka Ling has been rumored to have a child through a surrogate. She denied the rumor and said that she wanted to have her own child. "I wouldn't judge others with my own values or life attitude. We are very happy, with or without children. With the technological advancements now it can absolutely be done. (Would you consider artificial insemination?) No! We don't have to have one, now we are very happy too. Actually I am not too patient, I can play with Li Yan for a little then I am fine. If you act up then it's hard to say." Ka Ling admitted that she enjoyed the life of two and even learned to enjoy her alone time. She would deliberately think about "making babies".
