First-time father Jordan Chan sang praises of his 'brave wife' Cherrie Yingafter she gave birth to a healthy baby boy via caesarean section on Monday. During an interview with the actor, who rushed back to Hong Kong from Tianjin to accompany his wife, he mentioned that Cherrie only had partial anaesthesia for child birth. He said that 'the entire delivery process was very smooth' and praised his wife for her strength and courage. When asked if he followed his wife into the labour room, the delighted husband exclaimed, 'Of course I did! I wouldn't let her be in pain alone while I sit outside comfortably.' He also revealed that Jasper was nearly 2.72 kg heavy when he was born. The blissful couple came up with the name 'Jasper' together and plan to consult a master on their newborn son's Chinese name. An overjoyed Jordon disclosed a photo of his son's adorable little feet to reporters and thanked everyone for their blessings.
