Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards 2013

Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards 2013 was held last night in Taipei. The nominated singers, groups, bands, producers and composers gathered for the awards ceremony including a number of superstars like A-Mei, Wang Lee Hom, David Tao, Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai. HK singer GEM and Khalil Fong made an appearance as well. GEM and Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin sparked love in 2010, but were unwilling to admit to their relationship despite the media catching them on dates several times. Last night, GEM and Yoga publicized their relationship at the awards ceremony as they walked down the red carpet hand-in-hand. Yoga held his girlfriend's hand tightly and happily waved to his fans and a thumbs up. GEM was also very pleased and smiled the whole time. However, due to her dress being too long, GEM tripped three times while walking up the steps. She almost fell to the floor, but boyfriend Yoga helped her lift the dress up on her second trip. The MC praised Yoga's attentiveness. Actually GEM and Yoga had been going back on and forth on Weibo before they publicized the relationship at the red carpet. Yoga took a picture of GEM's dress, while GEM took a picture of Yoga's leather shoes. The couple posted the pictures on their respective Weibos and got thousands of fans congratulating them. One fan shouted: "Get married! Get married!" When the couple were interviewed, they were asked whether the hand holding makes their relationship official? Yoga denied: "No, its what a gentleman does. (You two just enjoyed a trip to Europe together?) Go on my Facebook and you will see there is nothing that showed I was in Europe." GEM had an identical response: "We didn't go on an Europe trip."
