Teresa Mak Ka Kei got married less than half a year ago, but she admitted that she is expecting a baby in October 2007!
Good friend, Anita Yuen Wing Yee was excited and went shopping for maternity and baby products with Teresa. Anita also pre-planned Teresa's post-pregnancy arrangments.
In late 2006, Teresa married lawyer, Wong Kwok Ho. The couple enjoyed several months of sweet marriage before becoming parents-to-be.
An eye witness spotted Teresa and Anita shopping for baby products in Central district yesterday. Anita was very protective of Teresa, who appeared to to have gained some weight.
Reporters called Teresa to congratulate her. Teresa admitted that she was 3 months pregnant. The couple planned for this pregnancy in advance, giving her husband much joy.
"My husband is extremely happy. Each time we see the baby on ultrasound, I feel the joy of motherhood. The baby's expected due date is in October. I don't want to reveal whether it is a boy or girl yet."
"Anita was very excited when she heard my pregnancy news. We went shopping for baby and maternity products and she even advised on post-pregnancy arrangments!"
Teresa's pregnancy motivated her to quit her smoking habit of many years. "Now I hate the smell of cigarettes!"
Due to Teresa's pregnancy, her good friend will be helping manage Teresa's lingerie store in Mongkok.
Will Teresa become a full-time housewife? "ATV is going through some management changes. My contract has not been finalized yet. I will decide after I have my baby, but I wish to continue to act!"
