Designer Victorya Hong, who challenged "Project Runway" in season 4 as the first Korean, will also appear in the Korean version of the controversial reality show. She will be a "surprise" guest judge at the first episode aired by OnStyle.
Hong, who was born in Seoul but grew up in the United States, now has her own brand in New York with remarkable design talent.
She was spotlighted in the TV show due to her calm way of speaking, cleverness, and sensuous design. She took first place in an assignment set by Sarah Jessica Parker of "Sex and the City" fame.
"It's refreshing to be a judge for the contenders in my home country after going through fierce competitions as a contender myself."
"Project Runway Korea" will be broadcast on OnStyle at midnight Saturday.
