Mika Nakashima (26) will do the theme song for the film "Sayonara Itsuka," directed by Lee Jae-han. This is her first movie theme since she sang "Eien no Uta" for "Southbound" in 2007.
First announced last year, "Sayonara Itsuka" stars actress Miho Nakayama (39), who has not acted on the big screen since 1997. The movie is based on a 2001 novel written by award-winning author Hitonari Tsuji (50). Nakayama and Tsuji married in 2002.
Nakashima's song is a ballad titled "ALWAYS." It was written and composed by Rui Momota, who was also in charge of Nakashima's "ORION."
No release date has been set yet for "ALWAYS." "Sayonara Itsuka" opens in theaters on January 23, 2010.
