Singer Namie Amuro was forced to cancel a concert on October 14 at the Tokyo International Forum, due to inflammation of her vocal cords. Amuro's management stated that she tried to recover up until just before the appointed starting time, but her doctor ordered her not to perform.
The concert was one of the additions made last month to Amuro's "PAST < FUTURE" tour, which started in April. She also has another concert at the same venue scheduled for the next day, October 15.
Ticket holders for the canceled show will be able to attend a new concert scheduled for December 1.
