New film "Christmas Rose"
Hong Kong Aaron Kwok said he was unfazed by the poor box office results for his new film "Christmas Rose", and expressed that he was confident about the movie's quality.
In a press conference, he lamented that it is very hard to gauge the audience's ever-changing tastes, but added that he will put in more effort to win the hearts of moviegoers with his next film.
When Aaron was asked to comment on the even more poorly-received "Switch", which stars Andy Lau and Lin Chi-ling, the actor declined to do so, explaining that it is unfair to criticize a movie that he was not involved in. He, however, joked that he
had never taken part in low quality films in the past 10 years.
The 47-year-old actor also revealed that his next film, "Silent Witness", will hit Chinese cinemas this September.
