24th Golden Melody Awards
The 24th Golden Melody Awards concluded with Hong Kong singer, Sandy Lam clinching four awards for her album Gaia and Taiwanese rocker, Jam Hsiao bagging best male singer for his album It's All About Love.
Although Sandy Lam was not around for the award ceremony, she managed to take home top honours in best female singer, best album as well as best producer and best arrangement for album Gaia, becoming the biggest winner for the night.
Besides the star-studded turnout at the awards ceremony, the audience were also excited to see '˜double J' (a nickname for Jolin Tsai and Jay Chou) reunite on stage for the best male singer award presentation.
Despite being repeatedly teased by the crowd to hug, the two had minimal body contact. The 34-year-old singer-songwriter made light of the situation and teased Jolin about her recent gym date with rumoured boyfriend, Vivian Dawson. He joked, 'If your other half is not free to gym with you, my gym is available.'
