News : Stefanie Sun
Amid motherly chores and commercial performances, Stefanie Sun has reportedly completed recording four new tracks for her comeback album that is slated for a year-end release.
Although various record companies have expressed their interest to sign a contract with the local songstress, it is believed that Stefanie will most likely join Universal Music, home to big names such as Sandy Lam, Karen Mok, Coco Lee and Fish Leong.
Stefanie's manager responded to the claims yesterday, saying, 'We have been talking to Universal since the last album, but nothing is signed yet.'
Ye Gong Jun, General Manager of Universal Music, admitted that the company has been actively pursuing Stefanie. 'But we have some very strong competitors,' she said.
At the same time, media reports also claimed that Stefanie and A-Mei, who are ex-labelmates in Warner Music and EMI, might have the opportunity to work together again as Universal Music is also said to be in discussions with the Taiwanese diva.
