Building a Web Page with Dreamweaver - Step 2

Go back to Step 1 - Set up a project folder on your computer

Step 2: Set up a new site in Dreamweaver

Launch Dreamweaver. From the Site menu, choose New Site. For now, just enter a name for your site. Click on the folder icon and browse to the location of the new project folder on your computer. Dreamweaver thinks of this folder as the local version of your web site’s server. Click OK to create the new site.

You’ll notice that the Files panel off to the right of your document window loads in the new project folder and subfolders.

Set up a new site in Dreamweaver, name it, and point to the project folder location on your computer.

Next - Step 3 : Make and save a new HTML page
