Dreamweaver is part of Adobe’s Creative Suite, and is a fairly expensive product. If you do not own Dreamweaver, a close alternative to try is CoffeeCup at http://www.coffeecup.com/free-editor/. CoffeeCup offers a real-time design preview window so you can see how your code affects the page layout. There are also user interface tools to help you add tables, images, and other content to your page more easily.
CoffeeCup offers a free version that does not include the full range of normal features (such as FTP file upload), and a free trial version of their fully-fledged edition. Their full-featured edition costs about US$70, which is much less than Dreamweaver. They have a number of other tools to select from as well, which are all priced modestly.
