Roger Kwok To Become A Father In April

Roger Kwok (郭晉安) and Tavia Yeung (楊怡) were among the guests at the Ming Pao entertainment awards event today and following reports that he will become a father in April, Roger admitted that the news was true and expressed his joy to the reporters.

Roger revealed that they do not know what gender the baby is, but he said it does not matter as long as both mother and baby are healthy. However, he will be heading to the mainland soon to film a 20 episode series, so he will not return to Hong Kong until February. He said that his wife Cindy Au (歐倩怡) is urging him to go ahead and earn money while he can, so they can enjoy a better life in the future. As he does not want Cindy to join him in China, he will be taking his laptop and webcam with him to keep in touch with her.

Describing Cindy's figure as turning into a basket, he later corrected himself by saying it was more like a basketball. There were rumours that Cindy was suffering from a hip problem, Roger insisted that there were no problems with his wife's pregnancy. As for the rumours about them undergoing assisted conception, Roger said that the baby was conceived without help from science and the process was completely natural. He laughed that his wife finds the pictures of the tiny baby quite strange and admitted that he did not know what he was looking at. He said that he has bought a four-door Mercedes for his wife to get around in.

Tavia was spotted by reporters with her boyfriend gambling at a Macau casino earlier and she was reported to be so angry when she lost that she was hammering her head against a wall. Asked about this, Tavia said that the man was not her boyfriend, but admitted she did bang her head on the wall because she was too excited. She said that she did not lose very much money, only around HK$1000.
