Premise:
The storyline is set against the backdrop of pre-unification China, where the many kingdom are constantly battling each other for land and power. A princess gains the throne after her father's death in battle, defending their kingdom; with the constant threat of attack looming, she will have to embrace her new position in life, despite what comes her way.

Synopsis:
The story is set in ancient China before its unification, during which countless kingdoms battle for supremacy. Yen Feier [Kelly Chen] is thrust onto the throne when her father is killed in battle. Feier and her loyal Muyong Xuehu [Donnie Yen] unite to defend the kingdom. But her ambitious cousin Wu Ba [Guo Xiao-dong] sends assassins to kill her. A mysterious man Duan Lan-Quan [Leon Lai] saves her. Feier falls in love with Duan who offers her another life. With the fate of their kingdom in the balance, Feier must choose between her duty and her dreams.

* ) wow, a movie with donnie yen and leon lai. it will be interesting to watch. one good fighter and one good singer, sweet.

* ) wow this is fantastic!!! there's donnie yen and leon lai. perfect!!! but since the title of this movie is 江山美人, so i guess it would come out a lot better if they use someone else who is much prettier than kelly chan.

* ) The clip looks good, I'm huge Donnie Yen fan. I love the way he fights in movies, it's like candy for the eyes, just spectacular. I hope there are more of his movies to be download cuz I just can't get enough. I hope this movie will not be a disapointment.

* ) This movie look interesting. The costume remind be of Curse of the Golden flower. I don't really like Kelly chen though and she seem like the main lead here. I will watch this for Leon and Donnie
