Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Nick Cheung Ka Fai starred in the film THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK), which was selected to be the Rome Film Festival closing film. They along with Ching Wan's wife Amy Kwok Oi Ming, director Benny Chan Muk Sing took to the red carpet. As viewers surrounded the actors for autographs and photo opportunities, the barricade was also knocked over as the red carpet came to a halt for almost half a hour. Ching Wan was a frequent film festival guest. Foreign media screamed his English name and asked him for a photo with his wife. Koo Tin Lok and Cheung Ka Fai were also popular with female fans. After the premiere the applause lasted 5 minutes, as viewers complimented the film. Ching Wan and Cheung Ka Fai were teary eyed as they embraced each other. Koo Tin Lok gave them pats on their backs and displayed the brotherhood on and off camera. Kwok Oi Ming was also teary eyed as she wiped away her tears. She said to Ching Wan, "I held back my tears several times as I was afraid of ruining my make up, but the brotherhood in the film was extremely moving!" Many female fans rushed the actors and praised their great performance.
