Jimmy Lin’s concert will be held at the Shanghai Grand Theatre on Nov 21, 2009. He autographed tickets for fans yesterday at the Nanjing Road 353 Plaza. The session was at 7:30pm but large group of fans gathered long before that. Jimmy disclosed that the guest of honor Leon Jay Williams (from My Lucky Star) will bring surprises to the concert.
Jimmy announced the birth of his son last month. Fans wanted to see him in Shanghai more than ever. To thank his fans he took time off from concert preparation to meet them. Because he injured his hand recently instead of signing autographs he used a stamp and shook hands with fans. Fans sent their best wishes to the new father. Jimmy didn’t take any breaks during the entire session. Even though his hand was hurting he greeted each fan warmly with a smile.
This is the new father’s first appearance in Shanghai. It attracted a large crowd of fans and media who packed the plaza. The media were curious about the new “Lin Baba”. They also sent their best wishes. As to whether his family will attend his concert, Jimmy said his family will definitely be there but whether the baby will attend “is a secret, not to be disclosed now”. Even though he is still not used to be called a father he is very professional in his showbiz work. He would not leak any details about the concert but only said “Last year’s concert was at the Hongkou stadium. Because of the open space I couldn’t interact with the fans. This time it’s in the Theatre and there will be zero distance between us. I hope to spend a memorable evening with the fans.” New songs and dances and secret ideas will surprise everyone. The only thing he disclosed is that Leon Jay Williams will be the guest of honor.

Jade Liu mini album <轉寄 Forward>
After last year’s full album, <我就是這樣 I Am Who I Am> , Jade Liu of China’s Super Girl fame will be releasing her new mini album <轉寄 Forward> on the 6th of this month. One of the new songs included is also a mirror of her feelings during her stay abroad in England.
The mini album includes three new songs: <禮物 Present>, <一個人就好 Just Alone> and <崇拜你 Idolizing You>. Jade comments, “Even though this is just a tiny EP, but these three songs completely represent my emotional feelings throughout this entire year”.
Title track’s lyrics was written by Jade herself, and is based on how she traveled to England for love in the past, and how she thought that she could live on just movies, music and love.
Jade says, “I only realized that our schools were so far apart when I arrived in England, and it was so hard for us to meet up. I was unable to adapt to the place, the cold weather and the food, so I spent a lonely period of time all alone.”
This period of being “Lost in England” has lead to Jade being jokingly nicknamed “The Lost Lover of England”, but when she thinks back on her experience now, she feels that all of what she has gone through, good or bad, are presents; and the biggest present of all would be her growing up through these trials and tribulations.
She reveals that the last time she was in Taiwan, she had a sudden stroke of inspiration the night before her recording. After crying in her hotel room, the lyrics of were born.
One part of it goes: “I run barefooted, my blood and tears flow nonstop, I throw away my pride, and admit that I’ve been through hardships”, and Jade admits that “I was alone in another country at that time, so when I heard the demo it was particularly touching”.
In the EP, Jade also sings, written by Tanya Chua, showing a lazy, relaxed side of her voice. In order to promote her new mini album, Jade has come to Taiwan again, but this time she’s no longer going to be lonely.
Apart from tasting the local cuisine, she also researched on swimming pools and bicycle tracks, taking the time to swim and cycle in order to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle that Taipei is known for.

Mayday, S.H.E and Fahrenheit at taiwan for new year eve
Mayday, S.H.E and Fahrenheit the 3 biggest groups in Taiwan, for this new year's eve will not be rushing around venues, they will remain in Taipei's city government plaza exclusively accompanying Taipei's citizens to see in the new year. As a result this has caused a lot of dissatisfaction at the other venues, inferring the new years eve party at Taipei plaza whose broadcasters are TVBS had spent large sums of money to lock the big stars to the one venue, causing problems for the other new year's eve events in Taiwan. TVBS commissioner Wang Li Ming said "We never demanded anything, it was the singers that were worried that running from venue to venue will effect their performances, you can't blame us."
This year Jolin Tsai, A-Mei, Jam Hsaio and Jay Chou etc will not be singing on new year's eve, creating chaos for the new year's eve party, TVBS had already a half year ago negotiated the deal, stealing the biggest groups for an exclusive performance. Mayday are being paid $2 Million NT for the countdown performance while S.H.E and Fahrenheit will get paid $1.5 Million NT each, singing for half an hour each. TVBS said, for this year's new year's eve party they have spent about $20 Million NT, paying a high reward will naturally entice singers not to switch venues. The presenters for the event will be Hu Gua and Pauline Lan who will both be performing.

Mizushima releasing his Drama and Photobook
Although busy with his new drama and soon-to-be-released photobook, popular Japanese star Mizushima Hiro cleared his hectic schedule to accompany his wife, Ayaka, to the hospital for checkups. It seems he's kept the promise he made when he first announced their marriage. In doing so, he has earned countless praises from his fans for being a 'doting husband'.
According to the new issue of Flash magazine, after announcing their marriage back in April of this year, Ayaka has taken a break from her career to concentrate on her health. Even though Mizushima has been busy with work, he has always kept her as his top priority. He took time off to go with her to the doctors. They appeared walking hand in hand, looking very much like a loving couple. During their marriage announcement, Mizushima had promised to 'protect his wife'. It seems like he's kept his word!
