In response to the report, Hannah's management agency said, "She's already 18. We think it should be fine if her parents do not object to it [the marriage with Jay]."

Jay's recording company JVR Music, on the other hand, said, "No comments to baseless information from a friend."

Upcoming drama My Wonderful Life

According to the Hong Kong media, Taiwanese heartthrob Jerry Yan was filming an upcoming drama My Wonderful Life, when eyewitnesses reported that he fought with an extra because he was too engrossed in his role.

During the scene, Jerry's character -- a wealthy second-generation -- accidentally knocked into an elderly; when a passer-by went up to lecture him, the two had an argument before fighting with each other.

Furthermore, the script also required Jerry to endure eight consecutive slaps. The director had insisted on real slaps, causing the actor to bite the bullet to complete the scene.

Previously, Jerry was hit by the lead actress, causing him a three-week toothache, from which he has yet to recover.

Responding to Jerry's injuries on set, his manager said, "Everyone gets injured on set. Jerry thought it's not a big deal. He wants to do his best. To satisfy the director's request, all his fighting scenes were real."

Andy Lau Tak Wa will be at 68th Venice Film Festival

The Andy Lau Tak Wa and Deanie Ip Tak Han starred A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) qualified for the 68th Venice Film Festival competition, not only fulfilled Director Ann Hui On Wa's Venice Film Festival dream but also sent the classic mother and son pair of Sister Deanie and Wa Jai back in time. Under the director's magic hands, they regained their youth.

The film will premiere globally on September 5. The director even cooked up an unique Sister Peach and Young Master Roger's childhood photo as the film festival promotional poster. In the photo Sister Deanie played Sister Peach, with a long and thick braid and her left arm around Young Master Roger's shoulder. She looked very happy. The plumb Young Master Roger was the eight year old Lau Tak Wa. This master and maid photo not only traveled back in time but also brought out endless warmth.

Reportedly Wa Jai did not have too many childhood photos, so this was an extremely valuable one; Sister Deanie made full preparation for a convincing maid look in the young Sister Peach's photo. She seriously said, "As early as the 50's and the 60's the prime time for Ma Jie, in the 70s Filipino maids flowed into Hong Kong and Ma Jies were gradually phased out. Once upon a time on Prince Edward Road you would constantly run into one or two Ma Jies with a long braid and costume. They were very special and left a deep impression. They became my research targets this time."

Wa Jai looked at this "old" photo that brought him back to his childhood and honestly said it felt very real and warm. He recalled when he was eight and said, "I grew up in a farm village when I was little, I never thought I would have this Young Master aura inside, ha! This photo with Sister Deanie is truly valuable."

The actress had spent her birthday (June 28) filming her latest drama, Precious, in Hengdian, China. In the drama, Jeanette plays three different characters -- including a mother-daughter pair -- spanning across three different eras.

Precious is adapted from Ch8's 2008 blockbuster drama Little Nyonya. While Qian Jin's tough personality resembles that of Yue Niang, the former is more outgoing and not as sad.

In a phone interview with xinmsn, Jeanette said, "Almost all of my birthdays were spent on set, since I entered showbiz. I thought things would be quiet because I'm overseas, but it was quite lively."

The production crew had specially prepared a surprise for Jeanette.

On her big day, the actress arrived on set at 4am for makeup. She later shot a kidnapping scene, which made her "feel hot and dirty". The filming only ended at midnight.

Then, the crew suddenly brought out a cake to celebrate her birthday. They even went for steamboat together.
