William Chan was shooting for the MV to his new song <穿心箭> and asked big sister Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) to be the female lead. William is a bartender in the MV and had always had a crush on Ah Sa, but was afraid to confess to her, until one night. In the MV, Ah Sa and her boyfriend got into a fight, so she drank a lot, which gave William the opportunity to take another step in the relationship. Ah Sa and William had many intimate scenes, but the director wanted Ah Sa togive off a "resist but welcoming" feeling. Group AKB48 performing in Los Angeles
Anime Expo has announced that the female idol group AKB48 will be performing at the July 1-4 convention in Los Angeles. Producer and songwriter Yasushi Akimoto founded AKB48 in 2005 as an idol group permanently stationed in Tokyo's Akihabara otaku shopping district. AKB48 will perform a concert at the Nokia Theater on July 1. The members will also hold attendee panels, meet-and-greet sessions, and autograph sessions during the convention.
The full members of AKB48 are split into A, K, and B teams — named after the three syllables of the "Akiba" nickname for Akihabara. 16 of the members performed in Paris for Japan Expo 2009, and another sub-group made the band's American debut at the New York Anime Festival last year.
AKB48 performed theme songs for the Deltora Quest and ICE anime projects. AKB48's most recent single, "Sakura no Shiori," sold 370,000 copies in its first week in February, and the group's second studio album, Kamikyokutachi, debuted at #1 on Oricon's weekly album chart. New movie " Spider Liilies "

Drama Moon Lovers won't air on this month
The Fuji TV drama Moon Lovers isn't airing till next month, but there has been endless promotions in place already. Last Friday on the radio show What's Up SMAP, Kimura Takuya received countless questions from listeners wanting to know more on the storyline and how things were progressing on set. However, Kimura cleverly answered around the questions without giving anything away.
One listener asked if there will be any promotional items that will be released with the drama? At first Kimura was serious about answering the question, saying he hasn't heard anything regarding this issue. However, later he said that there was a secret plan to hand out condoms during the campaign. He then went on to say how love encompasses intimate moments, so condoms are a necessity for couples. He later stressed that it was his own personal opinion, but he will present his suggestion to Fuji TV and personally look into the details.
Another idea that Kimura had was to organize a beauty contest. As 'Getsu' sounds similar to 'Ketsu' (butt), Kimura wanted to hold a contest through the television station, and went as far as coining the name 'Ketsu no Koi'. Then he laughed and said that he will enter the contest too, since all the contestants' faces will be hidden. Seems like he went all out trying to sell the idea.

The song which was revealed on 19th April is up #1 on the daily music charts of sites like Mnet, Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, Soribada and Monkey3 on 21st April, showing the great interests for the group’s comeback.
JYP Entertainment revealed, “The 2PM members are really excited about their comeback stage on 22nd April. We hope that everyone will show them the support and interests.”

William Chan new album
William Chan has released his 3nd music album "Do You Wanna Dance" today. Although William is very busy promoting this album, he hasn't forgot about the earthquake victims in Ching Hai. He has been following the rescue effort and wanted to help. He bought a large number of his records from his own pocket and put them on sale in UNICEF fund raising counter in Time Square. William also personally went their to promote the sale. He hopes the victims can rebuild their homes soon.
When William was filming the music video for "Do You Want To Dance", he had two shinny suits specially made for that MV. When the camera was rolling, the photographer said the suit was too shinny, and the effect was not very good. He suggested William to take off the jacket. William was very embarrassed and said "No clothes to wear again!"

Ding Dang 28th birthday
Singer Ding Dang just celebrated her 28th birthday and since she wasn't in Taiwan on the day, her record company prepared a strawberry cream cake and celebrated with her in advance at a karaoke bar. Previously at her rumoured partner Xiu Jie Kai's birthday party, Ding Dang was very sincere and came to sing with him but now that it's her birthday, Xiu Jie Kai could not be seen. At the party, Champion's drummer 'Xiao Hou' kept teasing Ding Dang about it and at that moment she didn't know what to say but a colleague helped her out saying, "The event was planned at the last minute so he couldn't make it in time!"

Ron ng was filming the new series "Reunion"
Yesterday Ron Ng was filming for new series . Ron held onto a boutique of fresh flowers and a diamond ring to propose to Kate Tsui. Ron said that he doesn't know how to be romantic in realiy, while Kate doesn't like her other half being a romantic playboy. She felt that men who are attentive is more stabled.
It was a hot day during filming, Ron had on a thick jacket and the staff constantly helped him wipe off his sweat. Before filming, he kept a cooler in his pocket, but after an hour of filming he was completely wet. Unfortunate for Kate who had to hug the sweaty Ron while pretending to be sweet.
The scene was about Ron using a batch of red roses and a diamond ring to propose to Kate kneeling on Stanley road. Kate laughed and said that Ron proposed to her several times in the series and had many kiss on the forehead scenes. Save the intense kiss scenes for the youngsters Toby Leung and Him Law. The kiss on the forehead was added on short notice.
Claiming as a workaholic, Kate was asked if she wants her other half to be romantic? She said that romantic is not reality, it's just what you would see in dramas. Also, romantic is almost like a playboy. Often business handsome gentlemen do not have such a big batch of flowers, she rather choose a person who is more attentive, where he can take care of her. Asked if her past boyfriends are the attentive type or the romantic type? She said: "Neither. So far there's only proposing on the streets in series, hasn't happened in reality. Hip-Hop/R&B producer Teddy Riley has teamed up with Korean superstar singer/rapper Jay Park to produce his new untitled album.
Park shot to fame in South Korea as a member of the chart-topping group 2PM. The American-born B-Boy split with the group amidst controversy in 2009, after making controversial statements about Korea on his MySpace page. He eventually left the group, but resurfaced in Seattle as part of the Art of Movement B-Boy Crew and through a variety of covers on YouTube.com.
Park’s cover of B.O.B.’s “Nothing On You” has received a staggering 4 million views alone, since being released in March. Since linking with Teddy Riley, Park has completed tracks with Snoop Dogg, Daz, T-Pain, Krayzie Bone and others.
Additionally, Park has been tapped to star in Hype Nation, a flick about breakdancers from the East and the West.

Japanese pop singer Hamasaki Ayumi will be releasing her latest album "Rock 'n' Roll Circus" in Korea tomorrow, agency SM Entertainment said in a press release on Tuesday.
"Circus", the eleventh studio release by the 31-year-old singer, will be available in two different formats; a CD-only version and CD+DVD version.
The record, which came out in Japan last Wednesday, ranked at No. 1 on Oricon's daily and weekly album chart on the day of its release.
The CD carries a total of fifteen tracks including four hit singles "Sunset: Love is All", "Sunrise: Love is All", "You Were..." and "Ballad".
The DVD features music video clips for new songs such as "Sexy Little Things", "Microphone", "Don't Look Back" and "Lady Dynamite" as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the set and highlight performances from last year's "Ayumi Hamasaki Arena Tour 2009 A: Next Level".
Born in Fukuoka, Hamasaki moved to Tokyo to pursue a singing career at the age of fourteen and trained under Max Matsuura, renowned music producer and CEO of major record label Avex Group.

Super Junior is set to release a new album.
Coming May, Super Junior will be releasing their 4th album for their comeback. They are one of the much anticipated comeback artistes in May alongside WonderGirls etc.
A SM rep told OSEN on 19th May, “They are working hard in preparing for their comeback. They are working hard to bring a more ‘upgraded’ Super Junior to fans, so we hope that everyone will anticipate for the album.”
Meanwhile, the group recently ended their ‘Super Show 2′ concert tour in 9 cities over 15 concert performances which started last July. Their concert tour had mobilised over 200K fans.

New movie "Hanamizuki"
Actress Aragaki Yui (21) is currently in New York to film for her new movie "Hanamizuki". In March she and costar Ikuta Toma (25) went to Hokkaido and finished all the domestic scenes for the movie. Now Gakky had to fly overseas by herself to film a couple more scenes in North America, but instead of feeling lonely she showed complete devotion.
The movie is based on Hitoto You's famous song "Hanamizuki" and filming already started back in September. Hanamizuki tells the story of a couple that has been in love with each other for more than 10 years despite all their discrepancies. It's a love story made by the team that already made movies such as "Koizora" and "Nada Soso". Aragaki plays the protagonist Sae who starts out as an ordinary high school girl and ends up being a successful career woman working overseas. She is going to transform from a young girl to an adult woman.
The scenes they are filming in New York right now show Sae, who just graduated from university, working as an editor and pursuing her dreams of become a successful woman overseas. It's an important step in her life as a person and as a woman in order to gain the experience money can't buy. Fortunately she has people around her that support her all the time. Aragaki has never been in New York before and was quite anxious about going overseas, but the atmosphere of Big Apple soon won her over.
She already started taking English lessons back when they were still filming in Japan. The pronunciation and all its nuances was the biggest challenge and she had to study it a lot in order to be able to make ordinary conversations without much of a dialect. It sure must have been very difficult for her, but director Doi Nobuhiro praised her English skills. "She did great and almost sounded like a native speaker in all the scenes with English lines! Soon it was more just about saying her next lines rather than being like 'now I have to speak English'," he said. Some of the extras that got to appear in the public scenes actually thought that she is a native speaker. How much more of a compliment can one get?
Once they've finished all the scenes in New York, they are going to move to Canada for the final scenes. Hanamizuki is planned to be finished filming by the end of June and will open in Japan on August 21.

Twins Everyone Bounces Up 2010 Concert
The 3 show ended last night at Hong Kong Coliseum. Big sister Joey Yung made her appearance, attracting many friends from the industry to come support them including: Remus Choi, Laurinda Ho, Deep Ng and his girlfriend Jacquelin Chong, EEG boss Albert Yeung and his wife. That night, because Twins were feeling sad that the concert was ending, they cried several times on stage. Ah Gil gratefully said: "A lot has happened in the last 10 years, especially the past 2 recent years, but there are still so many loyal fans supporting us! I'm really afraid that there won't be a second time, thank you all for giving us this opportunity." Twins thanked their boss Albert Yeung and manager Mani Fok who were sitting in the audience before singing , the scene was very touching.
During the Encore, Twins and good friend Joey Yung appeared, the whole place got very high at their presence. Joey told Twins: "I know that it wasn't easy to get through the last two years. Everytime I saw you two, I too felt really emotional, I really wanted to spend everyday with you two, being by your side and giving you the support."

New drama "Return Home"
The co-produced (Taiwan/ China) drama "Return Home" starring Zaizai is about to start filming, and only now producer Virgina Liu discovered that he does not speak Taiwanese ! Her chin nearly fell down : "Isn't Zaizai from Ilan?" So besides learning Japanes, he now has to quickly add-in Taiwanese too.
In fact, people from Ilan does not necessarily speak Taiwanese, but Zaizai is well-known to be unable to differentiate between "an" and "ang", for example "crashing a car" (zhuang che) becomes "drill a car" (zuan che), leading many people to think that it was Taiwanese-accented Mandarin. In fact the two things are not related. The real situation is that he can only speak single Taiwanese words but not complete sentences.
Zaizai's manager laughingly said that if Zaizai has a face that looks like a Mainlander (外省臉), maybe the drama "Return Home" would not have looked for him to take part. In the drama which is set during the Japanese Occupation era, although Zaizai is a Taiwanese but he is a military doctor with the Japanese army. The Japanese do not see him as a Japanese, and he is also not accepted/ recognized in Taiwan or Mainland China. Zaizai has currently receive the script for 10 episodes, and the Taiwanese language teacher has recorded the Taiwanese script into MP3 for Zaizai to prepare his homework. As for Japanese language, although he often goes to Japan for work he only knows basic sentences and still need to "jiayou" (refuel/ work hard). Virginia Liu said : "For April, let Zaizai concentrate on learning Japanese and Taiwanese, and the drama will proceed to Shanghai for filming at the end of May."

New movie "Once A Gangster"
Day before yesterday, Ekin Cheng revealed that his request to appear on TVB to promote his new movie was denied because he is one of the Big Four record companies’ singers. TVB’s Director of External Affairs Tsang Sing Ming yesterday clarified that TVB did not ban Ekin and in fact, is inviting him to appear on an interview show along with Jordan Chan. He indicated that even though Ekin is one of Sony’s contracted singers, he also has an actor’s contract with TVB and graduated from TVB’s acting class years ago, so he is definitely a “TVB person”. Tsang Sing Ming indicates that the incident was purely a misunderstanding and will not damage Ekin’s relationship with TVB. Tomorrow, Ekin and Jordan will be interviewed by TVB’s show <范後感>. Tsang also indicated that as long as Ekin appears on TVB as an “actor”, then it’s fine.
Singer Gackt with Avex signed
Singer Gackt (36) has announced that he has just signed with Avex. His first single under that label is scheduled for June 16, though details are still unknown.
Starting on June 10, Gackt will be doing a nationwide Zepp tour as the band YELLOW FRIED CHICKENs. The tour will run until August 20, with a total of 24 concerts scheduled.

Nick Chou Tang Hao first concert
Bili's son Nick Chou Tang Hao will be having his first concert before he has his first CD, after announcing a concert on July 10th at the National Taiwan Normal University's Sports Centre. His highly publicized concert is rumoured to have Warner Music Taiwan supporting him with expenses estimated at 20 million yuan, while his new album and MV for his new song "Fu Xin Han" have already been completed. Stylist Li Da Qi created a "exploding blood outfit" for him to match his colourless-ed face, when he poses coolly while staring at the camera. He looks like Robert Pattinson from "Twilight", garnering him the name "Taiwan's Pattinson."

3 years since the last time, Jay Chou's 2010 latest world tour kicks off on the 11th and 12th of June at the Taipei Arena! The new concert is called "Jay Chou The Era Concert", it means the 10 years that Jay Chou has been out since 2000, he has amassed 10 albums that constantly surpasses himself, he leads the music industry with his performance! This is Jay Chou's 4th world tour concert since 2002 "The One", 2004 "Incomparable" and 2007's world tour concert! Aaron Kwok concert in Las Vegas
Yesterday "Dance King" Aaron Kwok flew to Las Vegas, United States for his concert tour. He won special arrangements for a private jet to pick him up! Aaron frankly said that its been nearly 3 and a half years since he's performed in Las Vegas: "The local fans are very enthusiastic, screaming nonstop. During the handshakes, one female fan was so excited that she twisted my hand causing a small injury. I had to get a bandage and ointment to treat it along the way, luckily it wasn't anything serious."
After the performance in the States, Aaron will continue working on advertisements and new films. Recently his company especially opened a microblog, allowing Fans to see his updates.

MBC drama "Dong Yi"
The MBC drama "Dong Yi" is the first historical drama for Han Hyo-joo. The show is the latest work by director Lee Byung-hoon, who has established his name in the genre by directing a series of hits such as "Heo Jun," "Jewel in the Palace" and "Lee San, Wind of the Palace."
"At the beginning, I was determined to leave everything up to director Lee Byung-hoon, rather than doing anything on my own. But now, I want to make my own character of Dong Yi, rather than dreaming of becoming the second Daejanggeum," the lead character of mega hit "Jewel in the Palace" played by Lee Young-ae, said the 23-year-old actress.
Viewers who remember "Jewel in the Palace" are likely to search for similarities as both focus on the life of women who worked their way to the top. "It would be a lie if I say I don't feel any pressure from being compared to the last great work," Han said. "I will have to do well, and I'm sure I'll be able to. I had special lessons from the director for two hours a day until very recently."
Han debuted in sitcom "Nonstop 5" in 2005. Last year, "Brilliant Legacy," which was immensely popular with over 40 percent ratings, was her real breakthrough. "I was just doing my job, but people loved it," she says. She has an angelic and fragile image that can make her difficult to remember. "I go anywhere without makeup, and nobody recognizes me. But I think my inconspicuous face makes me versatile and enables me naturally to adapt to any given situation. I don't necessarily want to force an image change," she says.

Lee Hyori will release 4th album ‘H-Logic’ earlier on 12th April as compared to the planned date of 13th April.
Mnet Media revealed, “Following the leakout of Lee Hyori’s 4th album, the album will be released at 11am on 12th April. It was originally planned to be released only at midnight on 13th April.”
Mnet has requested for all related posts and file sharing of the album to be deleted on illegal download site P2P but it seems that the spread and sharing of the album has gone full force over the weekend and unstoppable, the company has then decided to push forward the release date.
The company revealed, “The illegal leakout of the album has cause harm both in terms of moral and money to both Lee Hyori and the compan. If people had given more though to the hard work and long period put in to make the album, this would not have happened.”

Popular/R&B group EXILE have announced details regarding their upcoming single Taiyou no kuni for May 19th.
On November 12th 2009, EXILE performed the song Taiyou no kuni at "The National Celebration for the 20th Anniversary of His Majesty The Emperor's Accession to the Throne" before Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. On April 8th 2010, via the official website for "The Celebration Committee of the 20th Anniversary of His Majesty The Emperor's Accession to the Throne", it was announced that there would be a physical release on May 19th.
This announcement follows the discovery of several requests from fans on the Internet for a CD release of the song, which was written by Akimoto Yasushi and composed by Iwashiro Tarou with an additional music performance by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. The single will cost ¥1000 and all proceeds will be donated to JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) and three other organizations.

"Hype Nation" appear as a Hollywood film
Park Jae-beom, Korean singer and former leader of boy band 2PM, has been offered to appear in a Hollywood film titled "Hype Nation", according to an industry source on Monday.
"Park and the film's producer Young Lee have been friends for a long time," the source explained. "From what I know, Lee had offered the role to Jae-beom back when he was working as 2PM and recently asked him again."
The singer has yet to announce his plans regarding the movie, known to be about a dance contest between an American dance crew and South Korean dancers.
"Nation" had originally cast Korean female singer Son Dambi for the lead role, but Son reportedly pulled out of the project when production got delayed due to the U.S. economic recession.
Park, 22, had sparked national controversy last September after remarks -- including "I hate Korea" -- he had written on his MySpace account before his debut became public. He quit the boy band four days later and returned to his hometown of Seattle.
He was expected to make his much-awaited comeback to the group this year until agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) terminated its contract with the singer last February due to "a huge personal wrongdoing" on his part.
Last month, he was seen participating in a b-boy dance contest in Vancouver, Canada with his dance crew Art of Movement.

Upcoming film "Karigurashi no Arrietty."
Teen actress Mirai Shida (16) has been chosen as the lead voice in the upcoming Studio Ghibli film "Karigurashi no Arrietty." This will be Shida's first voice acting role. In addition, she will be teaming up with Ryunosuke Kamiki (16), whose previous voice roles include the Studio Ghibli films "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle."
The "Karigurashi no Arrietty" movie was in December. Adapted from the fantasy novel "The Borrowers" by Mary Norton, the story follows a family of "little people" who live beneath the floorboards of a house, surviving by secretly "borrowing" items from the humans who live there.

Harlem Yu at Taipei Arena
Harlem Yu held his concert at the Taipei Arena the day before yesterday. Not only did his entire family come to support his concert, his young son Little Harry also made a rare appearance to show support; however his ex-wife Annie Ng – whom it was rumored earlier wished to reunited with Harlem – did not attend the concert and did not even send flowers. Nevertheless, Harlem received great support from his friends in the entertainment circle, including artists such as Coco Lee, Stephanie Sun, Alex Wang Lee Hom, Show Luo, etc. – all of whom sent Harlem interesting and unique flower tablets wishing him luck with his concert. In addition, best friend Jacky Cheung being the musical guest as well as the audience’s excited reaction to his concert performances made Harlem extremely happy.
As the concert opened, Harlem appeared on stage as a ‘mer-man’ and sang the song to start things off. After going through divorce recently, Harlem stated that he was lucky to have a bunch of good friends who supported him. The appearance of best friend Jacky Cheung on stage marked the climax of the concert, as the entire audience screamed with excitement. Jacky sang 2 songs – his famous as well as Alan Tam’s -- he also did a duet with Harlem where he posed as the ‘male voice’ and Harlem showed his 'soprano' skills by posing as the ‘female voice.’ Of course, the 2 long-time friends joked around on stage as well and made the audience laugh with their trademark banter (at each other’s expense), demonstrating once again their awesome chemistry.

Upcoming series "Hong Wu Thirty Two"
Michael Tse, Kay Tse, Elanne Kwong, Joe Ma, Sammul Chan and Joel Chan were having their costume fitting for TVB up coming new series "Hong Wu Thirty Two". In this series, Michael plays the role as a secret military guard. He was asked if he plays the similar role as Donnie Yan? He said although they were both fighters, their roles are very different, and Donnie's action fighting is much cooler and more sharper than his. Reporter asked if he is worried about rumors since he develops a love relationship with Elanne, but has emotional feelings with Kate and Jess as well? Michael said if there is rumor, it can only be pubicity, not real. There will always be rumors whether they go home together after work, or giving someone a lift to work.
Michael said "I have to investigate a case in the series, but I have more scene playing opposite to male artists than females, in particular with Sammul.

TVB new series "Reunion"
Toby Leung and Him Law were shooting a kiss scene for TVB new series yesterday on the streets of Jordan. Perhaps Him was too nervous before the kiss, he NGed several times on his lines prior to the kiss. It was only under the guidance of the Director that he got back to normal.
For the kiss scene, both Toby and Him did all preparations beforehand. They were practicing and testing the positions for 10 minutes, hoping for a "one take success". When it was time to film, they had great chemistry, but Toby who was crying as she kissed accidentally wiped her "nose water" (due to her runny nose) on Him's mouth. Although the scene was not very clean, Him was still focused on his acting, very professional! Appearing extremely embarrassed Toby quickly helped Him wipe his lip clean after filming. The scene was quite funny.
Toby expressed that the script made her really emotional, she was very into character. About her crying causing a runny nose? She expressed in embarrassment: "Yeah, so embarrassing. But watching the playback, the results were pretty good. Actually Him and I are know each other pretty well, so it wasn't too awkward during filming. It only got embarrassing when a group of young students were watching! This kiss is considered one of my intense kiss scenes."
Him who "ate" Toby's 'nose water' expressed: "I was just focused on filming the scene, really didn't feel it!"

Jay Chou's new album on May
Like an annual affair, Jay Chou's decision to release his new album this May has left other singers scurrying to change their own release dates.
As of now, two former Golden Melody best singers, Gary Chaw and Wang Leehom, have confirmed changes in the dates of release for their upcoming albums.
The only big-name male artistes slated to release their album in May are the ensemble rock group Superband, but insiders observed that they have a different target market.
Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou currently has nine albums to his name, and barring the first self-titled album, has been the biggest-selling artiste in Asia.
After focusing on film and TV production for more than a year, with the critically panned The Treasure Hunter and Pandamen, and a cameo in the Yuen Woo-ping wuxia biopic True Legend, the 31-year-old will return to his first love, starting with the May album followed by a concert tour in June.
Reports said his latest musical venture sees him experimenting with the Lady Gaga-inspired electronic genre. Trademark styles like soft rock and zhong guo feng will also feature.
When contacted, Rock Records said Gary's English album is postponed not as a response to the above news, but because studio recording has been delayed.
Leehom's latest album, originally scheduled to be released last month, has been pushed back till after summer.

Eric Suen new album "Man in the Mirror"
Yesterday, Eric Suen attended the ceremony for the release of his new album . Eric indicated that since his contract with Universal expires this year, this will be his last album under this particular contract. He expressed that his throat illness started during the production of this album and at one point there were doubts as to whether he would be able to successfully complete this album before his contract was up. Luckily, in the end, he was able to complete the album, so he especially treasures it. Laughing, he stated: “I completely recovered from the illness 2 months ago, so finally I was able to once again do things that a ‘man’ would do such as eat spicy foods and drink beer!”
Eric also revealed that earlier, he had issued a public letter to his fans that talked about his career and how he was unsure of the direction he is going to take. He says: “I can’t bear to part with the career I have built up in Hong Kong these past 3 years, however I also really miss life in Taiwan. At the same time, I also have hopes of moving to Shanghai to make it easier with filming mainland TV series. At this moment, the future direction of my career is a bit messy – plus in Taiwan, I still owe a lot of series, so in terms of renewing my contract, I hope that Universal is able to work with me and allow me to sign the contract after I finish filming the series that I owe.”

Upcoming movie "Box!"
Actor Hayato Ichihara (23) will be showing off more than his fighting skills in his upcoming movie "Box!" He'll also be collaborating with rock band RIZE for the film's theme song, titled "LAUGH IT OUT."
The song will be released on May 19 under the group name "RIZE with Hayato." Ichihara will be providing vocals as a rapper. Last year, he rapped for a bonus CD included with one of his photobooks, but this time will be his first involvement in an actual release under a major music label.
Directed by Toshio Lee, "Box!" stars Ichihara as a high school student with a gift for boxing. The movie opens in theaters on May 22.

16th Dream Concert in japan
The performers line-up for the upcoming 16th Dream Concert was revealed earlier through Japanese online portals. And… 4minute appears in the list! Indeed, thanks to the Hallyu Fan Card, Japanese fans can already apply for the presale until April 14th, whereas the reservations will be open starting from mid-April in South Korea.
The information is still to be confirmed by PlayCube which has to reveal about the girls’ following activities but especially their tight schedule for May. Their Japanese debut is set for May 1st (with the further release of the Muzik single Japanese ver. on May 5) and their Korean comeback was announced by newspapers for mid-May.

Blackie has started the Love Life plan, a public welfare event to show concern for weak and sick children, to try and get a response from society. After Xiao S filmed a public welfare MV on the 1st of April, on the 2nd the heavy hitter Jay Chou is the main star of the public welfare MV.
When filming Jay Chou, at present Jay Chou is busy recording his new album for this year, but he's using his free time to do his bit for the public welfare commercial. As one of the founding members of Love Life, when Jay Chou saw the concept of the MV, he was very moved and supported it, on the day of the filming, his mother Ye Hui Mei was there, when she saw the MV Blackie had made she nearly cried. The music for this MV is written by Blackie's fiance Fan Fan, when Jay Chou heard the melody, he couldn't help but immediately play it on the piano, he recorded the performance and gave it to Blackie as a gift, no royalties attached, this touched Blackie a lot.
For the filming of this MV Blackie and the crew took 5 days to film 20 artists, the high efficiency surprised him a lot.

"Swing" currently occupies the No. 1 slot of online music charts including Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Dosirak, Monkey 3, Daum and online social networking site Cyworld as well as the chart for music retailers Hanteo.
A representative from Mnet said, "It is rare to have a song which is not a title track to top music charts."
The singer currently putting the final touches to the music video of her title track. She is also preparing for the release of her fourth album and her return to the music scene.
Lee made her debut in 1998 as the leader of the popular four-member girl band Fin.K.L. She began her solo career in 2002, releasing several albums which include her hit songs "10 Minutes," "Hey Girl" and "Get Ya."

V6 latest album "READY?"
Japanese pop group V6 will be releasing their latest album "READY?" in Korea today, according to agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.
SM said in a press release that the boy band's 11th full-length album, released in Japan last week, will come out in a two-CD package composed of a main and bonus disc.
The record, their first album since "Voyager" in September 2007, carries a total of 13 tracks including the hit single "Light In Your Heart", "Swing!", "Spirit", "Guilty."
It also includes two television drama soundtracks featuring two of the band members; "Way of Life" from 2007 drama "SP" starring Okada Junichi and "Butterfly" from popular TV series "Keishicho Sosa Ikka 9 Gakari Season 3" which starred Inohara Yoshihiko.
The bonus CD in the new album contains eight additional songs, six of which are solo tracks by each of the group's members and two by V6's sub-groups 20th Century and Coming Century.

Yui Aragaki new song "WALK"
It is announced that Yui Aragaki (新垣結衣)'s new song "WALK" would be used as the theme song of the anime movie "Hutch, the honeybee (昆虫物語みつばちハッチ～勇気のメロディ～, Konchuumonogatari mitsubachi Hutch yuuki no melody)" which will premiere on July 31.
It's the first time that Aragaki's song is used as the theme song of a movie, and she commented: "I am full of the refreshing feeling!" Also, regarding to the 40th anniversary of Hutch, she said that she felt responsible. As to the lyrics of "WALK": "No matter how distant we fall apart, move forward and don't be lost.", Aragaki also commented: "It's quite fit the feeling that Hutch is moving forward to realize the dream and to find mother. It's the same for us, too. We should set a target and walk forward."

According to KBS Music Bank homepage on 5th April, the girls have won the #1 spot on K Chart on on the show on 2nd April. The show was not aired on 2nd April in view of the CheonAhn naval ship sinking.

"2010 Pink Ribbon For Breast Cancer" event
Lin Ruo Ya and Nikki Deng attended the "2010 Pink Ribbon For Breast Cancer" event on the fourth of April, where the males in attendance offstage clearly exceeded the number of females. "Ip Man 2" release end of June

E.U won "Top 10 TV Programmes"
Started out as a singer and regarded as Hong Kong's "little pop queen" Elanne Kong has been having a blossoming career lately where her duet with Sha Baoliang was nominated to one of GuangZhou's Asia Game songs. Upcoming drama "Tsuki no Koibito ~Moon Lovers~"
Lots of Chinese Kimura Takuya (37) fans had the chance to see him, Lin Chi-ling (35) and some other actors of the upcoming dorama "Tsuki no Koibito ~Moon Lovers~" during the filming in Shanghai yesterday, and they sure did.
That day they've filmed various scenes of Kimura attending some kind of official event for his company as well as the encounter between his and Lin's character, a woman from the slums who is making a living as a factory worker. She looked really exhausted with her messed up hair while sitting on the street crying without any shoes.
Lin had to run after the Kimura's limousine like that 10 times until the director finally was satisfied with the scene. She probably already had blisters on her feet, but the staff was kind enough to give her massages during the breaks. The fans near the scene were worried about her as well and asked her if she hurt her feet, but she replied that they are only tired.
The scenes were filmed near the shopping district of Shanghai and hundreds of fans showed up after hearing that Kimura would be in town as well. The staff had their hands full trying to keep all the excited fans from disturbing the filming. However, neither of them nor Kimura seemed to be annoyed be the fans. The Chinese media even praised him and the crew for their polite interaction with the public during that day.
Several other actors including Matsuda Shota (24) and Kitagawa Keiko (23, in a panda costume ) were spotted at the sets as well.

'Sammi Cheng Love Mi World Tour' concert

She made headlines last year for her battle with depression and notorious mood swings on set, but Sammi Cheng has since stepped out of her past, and appeared only happier and stronger than before.
In a one-night only full-house 'Sammi Cheng Love Mi World Tour' concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last night, the veteran Hong Kong actress-singer pulled out all stops and brought forth a flawless performance to the 9000-strong crowd.
Basking in the happiness of her newfound faith, a ravishing Sammi appeared to be positively glowing and had a cherubic smile hanging on her face the entire time. It seems like the 37-year-old has made a return to her prime years and heydays of being the Queen of Cantopop, with nary a figment of her depressive past.
Throughout the concert, Sammi was like an energizer bunny which bopped around and shuttled to-and-fro the stage to interact with exhilarated fans. She thrilled the audience with her strong vocals and discotheque medley of English retro hits like 'I Will Survive', 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You', 'Conga', while shaking and grooving to the rhythmic beat of the music.
A one-of-a-kind stage performer, the svelte one sported a total of 9 outfits -- from outrageous to glamourous, and leotards to sequined outfits -- throughout the entire two-hour long concert. At one point while crooning to an old Chinese love ballad titled 'Just Like Your Tenderness' by the late Teresa Teng, tears were glistening in Sammi's eyes as she shared, "Whenever I think of the topic of 'love', I'll think of this song."
Apart from guest performers like Singaporean jazz singer Tan Hanjin, and MC Jing, the highlight of Sammi's Love-Mi concert was when she jived to a medley of her hit dance tracks like 'Exclusive Song Test' and 'Everyone is a Superstar'. In that explosive segment, Sammi rocked the stage with her new lean and muscular physique, and drove the crowd into a wild frenzy with her showmanship and exuberant dance moves.
Unlike her other concerts, the Hong Kong artiste had a little surprise installed for local concertgoers when she came back for not only one, but two encores. Decked out in a chic red frock for her final encore, Sammi expressed her love and final goodbyes while belting out to 'Forever Beautiful', as she left the crowd mesmerized with her velvety vocals for the night.

After Fiona Sit and Jaycee Chan broke up, the two attended new film premiere. It was their first attendance to an event after the break up, the two took pictures together with huge smiles, looks like they weren't embarrassed at all. Fiona said: "Help sell the movie name? I am not embarrassed!"

Kevin Lin 2nd single "Clear Up"
Kevin Lin will soon release his 2nd single [Clear Up] from his newest album [When Did We Begin to Forget]. Kevin invited Lollipop’s Ah Wei to act as the male lead along with his 15 year-old niece. The pair acted out a simple love story in Kaohsiung, as if it were the Kaohsiung version of the movie [Au Revoir, Taipei].
After a whole day of filming in Kaohsiung, the one who suffered most was Ah Wei. Kevin Lin said: “Since my niece has never acted before, been in love before and has never held any interest in the other gender, Ah Wei had to work really hard to gain her trust and bring her into the scene. Both of them had to run back and forth between Kaohsiung’s streets and 5 metro stations. Their sweat was probably 10 times more than mine!”
Ah Wei also revealed: “It’s still my teacher who understands me most! At first, I felt like my hands were all tied up since I was embarrassed to guide her along. I even took advantage of the time to reapply makeup and the moments in between shooting to teach her. Then we could act more naturally together!”
The female lead also gave her “first kiss” to Ah Wei in this MV – she softly gave him a kiss on the cheeks. Ah Wei complimented the 15 year old girl for her professional performance!

With sales for Jacky Cheung’s new album "Private Corner" reaching 200,000 copies in Asia alone, a celebration gathering was held yesterday. New movie "April Bride"
"April Bride" (in Japanese: Yomei Ikkagetsu no Hanayome), based on the true story of a young woman with breast cancer, first aired as a TV documentary. Thanks to the support from her relatives, her friends and her boyfriend she is able to keep such a willpower until the very end of her life. "Right now I'm trying to memorize the script, but I already can't read it as just an outsider anymore. I can't help crying whenever I read it. Little by little I'm trying to get closer to the heroine Nagashima Chie and understand her feelings," Kanjiya said. Further she added, "Up until now, when asked about the pressure of playing in a starring role, I've always said that, even though it's the leading role, it's just one frame of the whole movie. However, this time I want to put so much effort into the role that I will be able to boast about my performance. I will work hard to move and impress everyone who is going to watch the show."
Watabe as well, "It has a very sad theme, but I want you to look beyond that sad facade. Look at all the things you are able to learn from this story. I hope it will deepen your appreciation of love and life itself." It's also the first time the two are acting together. Rain latest single "Love Song"
Asian pop sensation Rain has dominated all online music charts with his latest single "Love Song," according to his agency J. Tune Entertainment on Friday.
"Love Song," the title track from his special album "BACK TO BASICS" released at midnight on Tuesday, swept all Korean charts including Melon, Mnet, Dosirak, Bugs, Soribada, Hanteo, Monkey 3 and social networking site Cyworld.
The music video for "Love Song" was released on multimedia video player GomPlayer and will be followed by a wide release.
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has released several albums in Korea since his debut in 2002 and ventured into the small screen starring in the television series "Full House" and "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School."
He soon made a name for himself in Hollywood after appearing in the 2008 action picture "Speed Racer" and playing the lead in the martial arts flick "Ninja Assassin" the following year.

"Love Song," the title track from his special album "BACK TO BASICS" released at midnight on Tuesday, swept all Korean charts including Melon, Mnet, Dosirak, Bugs, Soribada, Hanteo, Monkey 3 and social networking site Cyworld.
The music video for "Love Song" was released on multimedia video player GomPlayer and will be followed by a wide release.
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has released several albums in Korea since his debut in 2002 and ventured into the small screen starring in the television series "Full House" and "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School."
He soon made a name for himself in Hollywood after appearing in the 2008 action picture "Speed Racer" and playing the lead in the martial arts flick "Ninja Assassin" the following year.
This will mark Rain's return to the Korean pop music scene for the first time in two years.
Angela Zhang at the Shanghai Waitan Music Ceremony
On March 30, Angela Zhang made an appearance at the Shanghai Waitan Music Ceremony as "World Exhibition Ambassador". Performing in the light rain, Angela who was wearing 3.5 inch stilettos accidentally took a wrong step and slipped. However she didn't let this affect her performance and continued singing whilst sitting down, then stood up again afterwards, winning the crowd's applause.

Followed by that, when Angela sang the World Exposition mascot Haibao's theme song "Haibao Has Come" solo, she fell and landed on the floor boards, the workers broke out in a cold sweat, very scared when they heard the loud fall. When she fell, she used her left hand to support herself and resisted the pain of her sprained wrist. Even after the performance, she went offstage and patiently took photos with all the little children before going backstage to attend to her injury with ice.
In regards to the accident, Angela laughed, "It was really embarrassing! In the past, I've only encountered my calf spasming during a concert, this is the first time I tripped onstage, my brain went completely blank, luckily I came to my senses in less than 3 seconds. I will never forget this pair of 3.5 inch stilettos that made me fall." Joe Chen Qiao En's first movie
Joe Chen Qiao En's movie aspiration will be turning into reality in June with her first movie "The Breakup Expert (分手專家)" being a collaboration with international star Chow Yun Fat. Yesterday, when Joe heard of the news, she was very stunned and exclaimed "Today's April Fools Day. You're lying to me right!"
Joe Chen will be working with Hong Kong's "永盛电影公司" for 5 movies within 3 years and yesterday, the company's big boss Jimmy Heung held an official contract signing ceremony with her in HengDian. After Huang Xiao Ming and Li Bing Bing, Joe will now also be part of the "5510 Big Movie Plan" acting group. Jimmy Heung is placing huge emphasis on the little drama queen's big movie leap revealed on the spot that her new movie "The Breakup Expert (分手專家)" will begin filming in June and the male actors include Chou Yun Fat and China's Zhou Li Bo (周立波). When Joe heard that she'll be working with international star Chow Yun Fat, she was shocked.
Earlier this year, Joe already went to visit Chow Yun Fat for Chinese New Year and went to his huge mansion. At that time, she had no idea that the two would have a chance to collaborate and was very excited. She even told Chow Yun Fat that "You're my idol, I grew up watching God of Gamblers!" Besides receiving an hongbao from Chow Yun Fat, Joe also gambled with him and was delighted to win consecutive rounds of Black Jack.
Joe made use of that opportunity to learn more about acting from Chow Yun Fat and the 2 hours long chat with him was very insightful. When talking about her biggest "Peach Blossom" Ethan Ruan though she referred to him as a friend only. "I watched "Monga". I really liked it. His character, He Shang, was very good and the biggest similarity between the two will probably be that in real life, Ethan's places huge emphasis on loyalty too."

After School UEE is currently managing both the activities as a singer and as an actress.
Recently After School has been busy promoting their new song ‘Bang!’ on various music programmes. At the same time, UEE is also busy as an actress with the filming of upcoming golf theme drama ‘Birdie Buddy’.

TV series "Personal Taste"
New MBC TV series "Personal Taste" is already stirring Korea and Asia since its premiered last night, according to Korea's major broadcaster MBC on Thursday.
MBC said in a press release that the show is already receiving inquiries about overseas broadcasting copyrights and has been sold at "unprecedented prices" to several countries in Asia including Hong Kong and Thailand.
"Sales inquiries are pouring in from Japan and China, the biggest markets for the Hallyu," explained an official at Victory Production Company, who produces the drama. "It is expected to be sold at the highest price in the history of Korean dramas."
Meanwhile, many fans from Japan, China and other Asian countries are reportedly visiting the set to watch and support the show's lead actor Lee Min-ho. Some 50 Japanese fans showed up at the press conference for "Taste", held March 25 in Seoul.
Local fans are showing a lot of support for the show as well -- fan clubs of Lee and actress Son Ye-jin visited the set with food and clothes for the cast and crew.
"Taste", based on a novel of the same title by Korean writer Lee Se-in, is about a man pretending to be a homosexual in order to become roommates with a woman who wants to live with a gay male friend.
According to daily statistics released by research firm AGB Nielsen Media, the Wednesday/Thursday drama made a solid debut on the small screen last night with a viewership rating of 13.8 percent.
The second episode airs tonight on SBS.

Show Lo's album "Lover's Puzzle (Rashomon)"
Show "Xiao Zhu[Little Pig]" Lo's seventh solo album "Lover's Puzzle (Rashomon)" once again stands at the top of both G-music and 5-music charts, winning by a high percentile, 10 consecutive weeks at the #1 spot, just dominating! Show is in China from 3/29 to 4/1, holding large "Lover's Puzzle" autograph functions in Chengdu, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangdong. In previous interviews, Show expressed that there never seemed to be enough time spent in China, so he hoped that he'd be able to fill his "Wives/Fans" wishes of seeing him again soon. Today, Show held his "Lover's Puzzle" autograph session in Shenzhen, but it somehow caused a commotion, and was suddenly called off.
At 5:30 PM today, Show Lo was at Shenzhen Futian District center plaza holding his autograph session. There were lots of fans that held their "Lover's Puzzle" album in hand, waiting for their close interacting moment with Show. And as expected, Show carefully signed each album presented to him, and also talked to his fans and even shaking their hands. But something happened, and the organizers suddenly told Show and his fans that due to crowd control issues, the autograph session was going to be cut short, they also kicked out the fans who hadn't gotten an autograph yet out of the venue. This sudden action not only caused confusion and strong protests from fans, but made Show confused and extremely upset.
Show kept asking the organizers, "My fans bought my album, why won't you let me sign them, what are my fans going to do then? How could you do this?" But the organizers didn't respond to Show. Show was insistent and didn't want to leave the venue, and was finally dragged off the signing stage by the organizers. So as not to disappoint fans, he told his fans that he'll sign their albums at the hotel later that night, group by group. Show will also be holding an autograph session in Guangzhou for "Lover's Puzzle" tomorrow, and many fans are hoping and praying that the same kind incidents don't happen again.
