The 34th Hochi Film Awards were announced on Thursday. This year, the title of Best Picture went to Setsuro Wakamatsu's "Shizumanu Taiyo," based on Toyoko Yamasaki's JAL-inspired novel about an airline employee pitted against company executives while he deals with the aftermath of a major plane crash.
The same film earned the Best Actor award for Ken Watanabe (50), who won the same award three years ago for his performance in "Ashita no Kioku."
Also winning for a second time was Takako Matsu (32), picking up Best Actress for her roles in "Viyon no Tsuma" and "K-20." She last won Best Actress in 2004 for "The Hidden Blade."
Meanwhile, Miwa Nishikawa's "Dear Doctor" received a total of three awards. Nishikawa (35) was named Best Director, while Eita (26) and Kaori Yachigusa (78) won Best Supporting Actor and Actress, each for several films including "Dear Doctor."
Best Newcomer awards went to Masaki Okada (20) and Hikari Mitsushima (23). Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino" won Best Foreign Film, and the Michael Jackson movie "This Is It" received a special prize.

Wilber Pan forgoten his song lyrics
Wilber Pan might look strong and healthy but he actually has injuries all over, and he can't remember his song lyrics, not even the ones that he wrote himself. It seems like he's going to be able to challenge senior Emil Chau Wakin (Zhou Hua Jian) for the title of "King of Forgetting Lyrics"! Emil Chau set a highest record of needing 6 cue prompters for his concert and its been confirmed that Wilber, who is 20 years younger than him will be requiring 5 cue prompters for his concert at Taipei Arena. One of them will be set up on the 2nd floor to prevent him from forgetting his lyrics when he moves up on stage.
Wilber claims that he has a pretty good memory normally. He can clearly remember which year he had which love rumors but memorizing lyrics is his greatest problem. "Dance For Two (雙人舞) filmed the MV in Korea and I had to repeat the lyrics twenty to thirty times. For public performances I've sang it around twenty times too. But I still can't remember the lyrics till now." When going on shows in Hong Kong and singing this song, he had to mumble over a few lines even and when he himself saw the shows, he couldn't help exclaiming "Its ridiculous"!
The lyrics for "Happy Idol (快樂崇拜)" was written by him and he has sang that song for many years. Yet he has never sang it right before. "I'll keep memorizing the song backstage and I'll be able to sing. Once I step on stage though, I would have forgotten them all."
Seeing how forgetful Wilber is, the music company has already given up on getting him to memorize the lyrics and has encouraged him to stock up on Gingko which is good for the brain. They automatically prepared 5 cue prompters to use and the big screen at the performance venue will also have the song lyrics shown. Wilber laughed and say "There's so many cue prompters. "Koshonin" movie will be in theaters
The additional cast members of the "Koshonin" movie have been revealed. The movie, first announced in July, is based on the popular TV Asahi drama series that is currently in its second season.

Black & White Taiwanese drama series
The production for the movie sequel of hit Taiwanese drama series, Black & White, is stuck in its own development hell.
Ever since the nomination list for the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards was released, rumours on the discord between the two lead actors Vic Zhou and Mark Chao have been spreading like wildfire.
After the Golden Bell Awards, Vic reportedly requested to have a look at the film script. However, director Tsai Yueh Hsun’s company wanted the actor to readjust his work schedule instead, causing things to reach a standstill.
On various occasions, director Tsai openly expressed his plans to wait for Vic despite the latter’s busy schedule. Mark had also openly declare that he will not take on the movie if Vic is not starring in it. However, production has to start by April 2010 as investors are panning for a Christmas release next year.
In a meeting two days ago, Tsai finally cleared the air on Vic’s participation in the movie. The producer, Yu Xiao Hui, shared that the fifth version of the altered script still includes Vic’s character, however, Vic’s busy schedule and non-commitment to the movie is causing much headache to the team.
Tsai jokingly commented, “As to how we should resolve this problem, I welcome everyone to send in their scripts.”
A representative from Tsai’s company expressed that they might have to strike off Vic’s role in the show “because there can never be another Chen Zai Tian (Vic’s character in the series).”
While Vic is currently in Taipei filming his upcoming movie, Ai Ni Yi Wan Nian, his manager commented on the decision made by Tsai and said, “Didn’t they say that they would not shoot without Vic?”
“I respect the decision made by director Tsai and I can only say that it is a pity.”

Shin new song "Burning Loneliness (火燒的寂寞)"
Shin invited Sonia Sui Tang to take part in his new song "Burning Loneliness (火燒的寂寞)" MV and the two tall people had a flirtatious bed scene together. This time, while filming the MV, Sonia complaint about how "Shin's a very heartless friend. Once the filming ended, he couldn't be contacted for years." Shin immediately tried to redeem himself and explained "I lost my phone! So there wasn't a way of contact!"
In the MV, not only does Shin and Sonia have a romantic date, dance and bed scene, there's also arguments, thrown dishes and plates. When filming the passionate bed scene, the two of them kept breaking into laughters and it turned out to be because such a bed scene was already filmed 5 years ago in the drama. Shin revealed that "The bed scenes then had a very kocha feeling. 2 people sitting at the side of the bed and then you'll see a candle. Suddenly, there's darkness and once the lights come back on, the baby has been born." The moment the two of them thought of that scene they did the last time, they'll burst into laughters and thus NG.

Tomohisa Yamashita and Toma Ikuta forms
Tomohisa Yamashita and best friend Toma Ikuta may be forming a new unit called “Iku & Pi” a.k.a. “the ikemen unit.” Well at least just for one night.
Yamapi who just finished his first solo concert at Yokohama Arena, had one his best friends make a special guest appearance during the second half of the show and they instantly formed “the ikemen unit.”
Both of them joined Johnny’s Entertainment in 1996 and became really close friends. So when it was decided that Yamapi was to have his first solo concert, he immediately called Toma and asked him to make an appearance.
“It’s like a dream come true to have both of us on the same stage,” Yamapi stated, and with a happy smile, “It was like going back to our JR. days.“
The last time they were both on stage was seven years ago when both Yamapi and Toma were part of Johnny’s Jr.

Mike He and director Alfred Cheung attending movie “Love you in sevnth sight” premiere ceremony. The female lead, Li Xiao Lu was unable to attend the promo at Hong Kong. New Comedy "Happy Go Lucky"

Sapporo Breweries revealed its newest Sapporo Beer Image Girl on Tuesday. Actress and gravure idol Kaori Nakamura (23) will serve as the 2010 image girl, taking over for model Miyuki (26).

Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau bought a house at Kadoorie Hill
Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau has spent some HK$106 million (S$20 million) on a new home, hoping that the change in feng shui will bring him a child, according to Taiwan reports.
Lau and wife Carol Chu have been trying to conceive for the past one and a half years and have spent over HK$1 million (S$200,000) on fertility treatments without success.
The singer-actor purchased the house at Kadoorie Hill, Mongkok, after engaging the services of a feng shui master.
The master informed Lau that the new house should be kept away from the prying eyes of the public and under tight security. These measures will prevent Chu from being constantly harassed by the paparazzi and allow her to focus on conceiving.
Chu has been under intense media glare since the couple's hush-hush marriage was exposed by the press in August this year. The former Malaysian beauty queen is reported to be uncomfortable and weary of all the attention and hardly leaves her home since arriving in Hong Kong after her father's funeral in August.
Their new home, a two-storey bungalow spanning approximately 1,200 square feet, is surrounded by a high wall and guests have to pass through two security points before reaching the house. The pair are expected to move in before Chinese New Year once renovations are complete.
According to Lau's assistant, the Heavenly King has yet to confirm the report.

Arashi appeared at 'Mediterranean Harbor' on a boat. They sang a greatest hits medley in which they performed 6 songs including 'One Love' and 'A･RA･SHI'. Park Yong Ha release 8th single '最後の人 / Saigo no Hito
On November 18th at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza, Park Yong Ha held a release event for his 8th single '最後の人 / Saigo no Hito [lit. 'Last Person']'. It was the first time in over 2 years for him to hold an event in Japan. His last event had taken place at Pacifico Yokohama in August 2007. 10,000 female fans flocked to the Plaza. As scheduled, at 16:30, Park appeared on stage. Screams of joy rang out. Park responded to the fans' cheers in Japanese. "I'm really thankful to see so many people here!"
For about 20 minutes Park discussed a variety of subjects. Vic Zhou acts in "Love you for 10.000 years"
Vic Zhou (Zaizai) acts in the Taiwanese movie "Love you for 10.000 years" which will have the same low budget as "Cape N°7", having studied Cinema, the japanese director Kitamura Toyoharu( also known as Bei Cun Feng Qing北村豐晴)and the crew are all very young, with Zaizai, they all meddle well and have fun together; even though everyone is new in the Movie sphere, the preparation for the filming was done really well, and the cast had to come to the place to reheasr even before they started filming, Zaizai and guest star, actress Lei Hao 郝蕾 had been preparing for a scene in a bar, and they spent 3 hours just to study the script and dialogue together.

Stephy Tang attended an anti-drugs event. The reporters mentioned that she has not made any appearances at the 3 music award ceremony press conferences. 'Johnny's Selects Sports Festival' on 19th
Johnny's Jimusho announced on the 19th that its 'Johnny's Selects Sports Festival', where many of its talents gather to participate in events like baseball, will be held in Tokyo Dome on 13th December.
Johnny's Sports Festival was held annually in autumn from 1990 to 2004. This one will be a Kantou vs Kansai showdown. Domoto Koichi (30) will lead the Kansai faction as its captain leading talents like Uchi Hiroki (23) and Nakayama Yuma (15) on his side. Kamenashi Kazuya (23) from KAT-TUN captains the Kantou side with Taguchi Junnosuke (23), Morimoto Ryutaro (14), Fujigaya Taisuke (22) and others on his side.
Other events include a relay and a mini-concert. The event is restricted to fan club members. Admission fee is 3500 yen and attendance is capped at 45,000.

2nd season "Bloody Monday" start in january
The sequel to the dorama series "Bloody Monday" finally got confirmed via the newest edition of the Shonen Magazine. They are currently publishing the 2nd season of the manga and put up a 1-page ad confirming that the sequel is underway and will start airing in January.

Super Junior mini album " Super Girl "
Super Junior M comes back to release their first mini album, Super Girl, which contains the five tracks: "Super Girl", "到了明天" (Blue Tomorrow), "告白" (Confession), "愛情接力" (You and Me), and "動情" (Only U). The handsome 7-member group appears in front of the camera again to share their experiences in preparing this album.

The news of Beijing stop of "KangXi Festival" concert, originally scheduled for November 28th, being cancelled has just be revealed. Some online ticket vendors have already put out a "Informed of temporary halt of ticket sales for Beijing stop of the 2009 KangXi Festival Nationwide Concert Tour" notice. Recently, Mainland venues for the concert have been losing money. The Hangzhou stop was even at a deficit of millions of RMBs. As of now, the reason for the cancellation of the Beijing stop is still unclear.

Production got underway Monday on "Chen Zhen," a martial arts actioner being directed by "Infernal Affairs" co-director Andrew Lau Wai-keung.
Set in 1920s Shanghai, the film features Donnie Yen ("Ip Man," "Highlander: Endgame") as a local resistance fighter who had been taken for dead after a bloody skirmish. After an absence of seven years he returns in disguise to uncover a plot linking the triads and the Japanese.
The film stars Anthony Wong ("Infernal Affairs," " The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor") and Shu Qi ("If You Are The One," "Transporter"). Yen also doubles as action director.

MTV Unplugged ayaka at Osaka-Jo Hall
yaka performed her last solo live performance 'MTV Unplugged ayaka' on 18th November at Osaka-Jo Hall.
This live performance is the biggest that MTV has held so far, with over 200,000 applications for the free concert. Only 10,000 were given invitations to the event. The venue, Osaka Jo-Hall, is where Ayaka watched her first live when she was in 5th grade. Her desire to become an artiste started budding when she watched Janet Jackson in action. As the hall quietened down and silence descended, Ayaka appeared on stage with her new short bob and a black dress.
"I have been looking forward to this day for so long, I'm so happy to see everyone. I will send my thoughts which cannot be put into words into each and every song I sing. Stay with me to the very end!" said Ayaka as she belted out her debut single 'I believe'.
"Osaka-Jo Hall is the place where I first saw my first live, Janet Jackson, when I was in 5th grade. I did not expect that I would stand at this very stage to perform 10 years later." she said, reminiscing.
Halfway through the performance, she did a cover of Michael Jackson's Human Nature. "Michael Jackson was the one that made a strong musical impact on me when I was in 4th Grade. I didn't understand a word he sang, and it was music I have never heard before but it sent an electric jolt through my body. I was sobbing when I watched the movie 'Michael Jackson This Is It'. Today, I will do a cover, putting all the respect I feel for him into his song."
A great applause rang in the hall when the introductory notes to 'Mikazuki' began. Some in the audience could not hold their tears back as Ayaka sang under the spotlight. "Thank you", she said, then "Let's stand!" The audience heeded her call and moved to the rhythm together. Ayaka pointed to the fans one by one as she called out "Thank you." As she sang her last song 'WINDING ROAD' the audience of 10,000 sang in unison. "My whole life, I will never forget this moment." "I love you." "Thank you!" Ayaka smiled at the audience as she sang and thanked them.
After enthusiastic applause and calls for her, Ayaka came back for an encore.
"I did feel a little uneasy before it began, but with everyone's power, this has turned out to be a really great live. What I am today, is because of all your support. Today is my last live before my break but as I sing, I also feel that this is the start of a new beginning. I hope to take things slowly step by step at my own pace. I will go through everyday with the thought of seeing everyone again," Ayaka said as fans shouted back "We will wait for you!"

Vanness Wu half body has been revealed.
Vanness Wu showed off his muscular upper body in idol drama 'Autumn's Concerto', boosting up the ratings to a very good result of 4.25%. However, he said that he no longer receives any add oil text messages from his friends. On the other hand, Tiffany Hsu revealed that on Sunday, a friend kept sending her text messages during the Sunday broadcast, to talk about her acting skills. Apparantly, that 'friend' was her boyfriend Ethan Ruan.
Last Sunday, 'Autumn's Concerto' broadcasted the scene of Vanness crying while lying in Tiffany's arms. To adjust her mood for this scene, Tiffany first pictured a situation in her mind, so to let herself completely immerse into the scene. She said: "When filming crying scenes, I think of my sick family members, so I am able to fully relax and cry!" Looking for a new project after finishing a comedy, Zhang Yimou is considering adaptations of novels set against China's Cultural Revolution and the Japanese invasion in World War II, his assistant said Wednesday.
The Chinese director is wrapping up an adaptation of Joel and Ethan Coen's 1984 movie "Blood Simple." Zhang's comedy about the owner of a Chinese noodle shop whose plan to kill his cheating wife and her lover is scheduled to be released in China on Dec. 11.
For his next movie, Zhang is considering four or five possible projects, Zhang's assistant, Pang Liwei, said in a phone interview Wednesday. Pang would only reveal two of the possible projects - two adaptations of Chinese-language novels.
The source material are Ai Mi's Internet-published novel "Shan Zha Shu Zhi Lian" - or "The Love of the Hawthorn Tree" - and Yan Geling's "Jin Ling Shi San Chai" or "The 13 Women of Nanjing," Pang said.
Ai's book is about the romance between a young woman and a young man from different class backgrounds during China's ultra-leftist 1966-1976 Cultural Revolution, when families from wealthy and politically incorrect backgrounds were persecuted. Yan's novel is about 13 sex workers who volunteered to replace university students as escorts for invading Japanese soldiers in 1937.
Pang said Zhang will make a final decision on his next movie based on how far the script and casting for each of the projects he's considering is coming along.
"All of the projects are being developed," she said.
An adaptation of Ai's novel would be a personal project for Zhang because his family was persecuted during the Cultural Revolution because his father and two uncles served in the Nationalist army defeated by the ruling communists.
A movie based on Yan's book would add to several recently released films about the Japanese invasion, including Lu Chuan's "City of Life and Death" and Florian Gallenberger's "John Rabe."

‘Down With Love’ and 'Pandamen' will be release in the same day
Last year in May, Jerry Yan & Jay Chou began their work co-operation, however both sides never signed a formal contract. Nevertheless, Jay fully displayed his generosity; not only letting Jerry’s personal company borrow JVR’s office space, he even arranged for JVR staff members to help Jerry take care of his work business. However, recently there are rumours suggesting that the relationship between the 2 parties has changed. Coincidentally, Jay’s first television series ‘Pandamen’ will be airing at the same time as Jerry’s ‘Down With Love’. Not only have the 2 kings gone their separate ways, their respective television series will also compete against each other in January next year.

Actor Kim Bum recently put out a single album in Japan — after showing off his vocal skills with the song he recorded on the additional Boys Before Flowers — and now he’s putting out a photoessay collection.
Kim Bum said, “After the broadcast ended for my drama Dream, I traveled to England. Over ten days from October 23, I toured London and the surrounding areas, and I’ve gathered the photographs I shot into an essay collection. You’ll be able to see it soon.” The photos aren’t solely vacation memories but aims to promote an environmental message.
He added, “I’ve wanted to release a book that I put my name on, so this is a dream come true. This was my first trip to England, and I really enjoyed myself. I feel great to be able to experience the culture of environmentalism myself and introduce it [to Korea].”

Long-awaited new EP 'REBIRTH'
With the release of their long-awaited new EP 'REBIRTH' in Korea on October 20th, SS501 has finally started to perform again with all five members. The group has been attracting lots of attention with their cool music and style. In December they will visit Japan to hold their second 'Christmas Show!'.
'SS501 ～2nd Christmas Show!～' will take place on December 19th at the Tsuru [Banquet Room] of The New Otani [Hotel] in Tokyo. Shiina Ringo has enter TV commercial
Shiina Ringo (30) is one of the more talented singer-songwriters in Japanese pop. With a strong independent spirit, she has maintained a rare non-populist and uncommercial approach to her career as a solo artist and as vocalist of the band Tokyo Jihen. Until now. From today she is appearing in her first ever TV commercial, for the Glico product Watering Kiss Mint gum. She doesn't speak in the CM but does a neat bit of moonwalking, and it features the latest Tokyo Jihen song "Nodoteki Sanpunkan."

"問世上有幾多愛" from edison.
After just finishing filming Hollywood movie [Almost Perfect], Edison Chen will be stopping at Taiwan on the 21st as his company's artist DJ Tommy is releasing a new album there. In the album there will be a song sung by Edison called "問世上有幾多愛 (How much love does the world have)" which is the first song he has published since his nude photo scandal.
It is rumoured he will return on stage to perform the song at LUXY nightclub but Edison has denied the rumours through his personal assistant, stating that he's only going to Taiwan for his friend DJ Tommy and also to release his [Taiwan limited edition USB toys] that are designed by Edison himself. The USB will contain the mp3s of DJ Tommy's new album and have raised online discussions already.
The lyrics of the new song "問世上有幾多愛 (How much love does the world have)" has been penned by Edison who is using the song to apologise to his parents. The lyrics say "Sorry mom, sorry dad, I really have tried to listen to you, I know I've told many lies (Sorry mom, sorry dad, I really have tried listening to you, I know I've told many lies)". The song even mentions how Edison's parents have told him to be more polite to paparazzi however, he still acted crazily. On the other hand, DJ Tommy accepted an interview for the Hong Kong media and stated that the recording of the song ended before the nude photo scandal and that the lyrics had nothing to do with the scandal.
Edison also showed his encouragement for his artist Apay Ji through a video and support for his own fashion label [CLOT]. Apay commented on how Edison is a really nice boss behind the scenes.

"Bodyguards and Assassins" set for December 18
"Bodyguards and Assassins" , an all-star film about a group of bodyguards protecting Sun Yat-Sen from assassins in 1905 Hong Kong, premiered Thursday on the 143rd anniversary of the birth of the foremost pioneer of China's revolution.
Lead cast members, including Leon Lai, Donnie Yen and Fan Bingbing, joined director Teddy Chen and producers Peter Chan and Huang Jianxin at the ceremony in Nanjing in eastern China's Jiangsu Province.
On the same day, the stars visited Sun Yat-Sen's mausoleum in the city to pay respect to the revolutionary figure.

Ongoing drama He Xiu Qiong's "Jia Qi Ru Meng"
Rumored couple Joe Chen and Roy Chiu are now filming He Xiu Qiong's "Jia Qi Ru Meng" and though they pretend to "distant" themselves on set, it is rumored that when Roy fell sick, Joe, very caringly, secretly gave him some medicine. The amazing thing is that after Roy consumed the medicine given by Joe, perhaps due to the power of love, he immediately had a great recovery form his illness.
When reporters questioned Roy's assistant regarding this matter, the assistant admitted that Joe did give Roy medicine but he emphasized that it was just a normal interaction between friends. "Joe bought the medicine in China earlier on when she was sick. Roy's probably hasn't adjusted to the new environment. Its just a coincidence."
It is understood that Joe and Roy started to have rumors after they accepted "Jia Qi Ru Meng" and are afraid that people will feel that they're just trying to stir up news for the drama. Yesterday, the producer He Xiu Qiong said that the two of them appear to be very distant on set and no one even bothered to ask them if the rumor is true. They're all putting all their efforts into filming.
He Xiu Qiong also revealed that Joe and Roy have tacit understanding with each other. Filming has began for 2 weeks already but for the first 10 days, the two of them had no scenes toether. However, two day ago, there was a scene of the male saving the female and both of them were emotionally engrossed. He Xiu Qiong has already filmed numerous romance dramas but she still kept praising them as "True emotions were shown."
He Xiu Qiong praised Joe Chen to be a very professional actress and also revealed that in the past, they have considered her for some other Qiong Yao dramas. "But Qiong Yao's dramas will take very long to film. Joe's in high demand, we had to discuss this drama for almost a year before we finally got her."

Good news for Tamra the Island fans: Not only is the mania trendy-sageuk series getting a director’s cut DVD set, it’s been announced that the DVD set will have an extra episode.
The drama had been planned for 20 episodes (and filmed months in advance) before MBC cut it down to 16 episodes due to low ratings despite fan fervor and general praise. That sparked massive fan outcry and an extended campaign first to save the series, then to release a full DVD set with the unaired episodes. The former failed, but the latter was successful. As a result, beginning with Episode 11, the production had to quickly edit down the remaining ten episodes into six, leaving a lot of material on the cutting room floor.
The DVD is good news for fans who felt that emotions changed too quickly in the broadcast version, since a lot of development was omitted for time. In particular, the box set promises to show Park Kyu’s (Im Joo-hwan) management of the port opening and its problems with “much more detailed development.”
In total, it will contain an extra episode’s worth of material from its original plan. Group Eight CEO Song Byung-joon explained on November 10, “After editing the complete series, the DVD came to 21 parts. … The video editing is complete, and now the sound editing is being worked on.” Note that this does not mean there is additional material after the series’ end; it means that when the material was re-edited into its originally planned components, they came to an extra hour’s worth.

Upcoming movie “Let The Bullets Fly”
International star Chow Yun Fat had to be hospitalised and put on intravenous drip earlier this week after catching a cold while filming upcoming movie “Let The Bullets Fly” in Beijing.
However, during the press conference for the movie in Beijing on Tuesday, the actor candidly joked that it was his co-stars’ formidable acting skills that ‘stressed’ him out rather than the cold bug.
“It seemed like there’s a ploy going on. One the first day of the shoot, I had a headache after witnessing Ge You’s masterful display. On the second day, I saw Chen Kun in action and my heart started beating so fast. He may be young but he is really good. Two days later, it was Jiang Wen and his brother’s turn and I couldn’t handle both of them. In the end, I had to be hospitalised and put on the drip for two days. This shows how good the actors are,” said Chow.

The stage play headlined by Ariel Lin and Denise Ho, will be showing soon. Due to the production being entirely in Mandarin, the cast of the play is in Taiwan rehearsing and rehearsals run up to 10 hours per day.
Due to the strenuous schedule of dancing and singing everyday, the exhaustion levels are high for every member of the cast. But the two leads are enjoying themselves, and both Ariel and Denise have fun playing when practicing Super Junior’s dance.
According to sources, the two will do a ballroom dance as part of the storyline.
Denise faces a fixed level of difficulty reading her Mandarin lines, and has been practicing relentlessly ever since she received her script. Show Luo & Rainie Yang best mate.
After collaborating together in idol drama 'Hi My Sweetheart', Show Luo & Rainie Yang have turned from enemies into good friends. Media reporters believe that the 2 are not just on-screen lovers, but their relationship in real life seems to have sparked a subtle chemistry reaction. Sharp-eyed staff members revealed that after filming, the 2 have developed a 'personal friendship'; not only romantically dancing together in their pajamas, but earlier, reporters witnessed the 2 going to sing KTV together, celebrating Show's assistant's birthday together and Rainie even visited Show at the recording studio in the middle of the night. Their relationship is definitely progressing very rapidly.
On the 28th of October, at approximately 6pm, Show & Rainie appeared outside a restaurant in Taipei. As soon as Show got out of his car, he immediately ran to Rainie's car and made faces against the window, and even imitated a monkey scratching itself. This made Rainie laugh non-stop, and after she got out of her car too, they headed into the restaurant together.

Arashi's 10th anniversary dvd released
Super popular idol group Arashi released their latest DVD, 5x10 All the BEST! CLIPS on the 28th last month. Selling 428,000 copies, they broke the previous record held by Kat-Tun for their March 2006 release of Real Face Film. Not only did they set a new record, but their 5x10 All the BEST! CLIPS is the first music DVD to sell past 400,000 copies. It comes as no surprise that Arashi took the top spot on the Oricon Charts for November 9th. Similar to their compilation album, All the BEST! 1999-2009, released back in August, the DVD is to commemorate Arashi's 10th anniversary.

"Akunin" release on 2010
Satoshi Tsumabuki (28) has landed the starring role in "Akunin," a new film by director Sang-il Lee ("Hula Girls"). The movie is based on a novel by prize-winning author Shuichi Yoshida.
Although Tsumabuki has generally played likable characters in the past, here he has been cast as an antihero. Tsumabuki plays a man named Yuichi, whose dark deeds include killing a woman he meets through a dating website and forcibly taking a woman to a love hotel. However, the story examines the causes behind his character's actions, as well as the painful romance that develops between him and a woman he encounters.

Jimmy Lin’s concert at Shanghai Grand Theatre
Jimmy Lin’s concert will be held at the Shanghai Grand Theatre on Nov 21, 2009. He autographed tickets for fans yesterday at the Nanjing Road 353 Plaza. The session was at 7:30pm but large group of fans gathered long before that. Jimmy disclosed that the guest of honor Leon Jay Williams (from My Lucky Star) will bring surprises to the concert.
Jimmy announced the birth of his son last month. Fans wanted to see him in Shanghai more than ever. To thank his fans he took time off from concert preparation to meet them. Because he injured his hand recently instead of signing autographs he used a stamp and shook hands with fans. Fans sent their best wishes to the new father. Jimmy didn’t take any breaks during the entire session. Even though his hand was hurting he greeted each fan warmly with a smile.
This is the new father’s first appearance in Shanghai. It attracted a large crowd of fans and media who packed the plaza. The media were curious about the new “Lin Baba”. They also sent their best wishes. As to whether his family will attend his concert, Jimmy said his family will definitely be there but whether the baby will attend “is a secret, not to be disclosed now”. Even though he is still not used to be called a father he is very professional in his showbiz work. Jade Liu mini album <轉寄 Forward>
After last year’s full album, <我就是這樣 I Am Who I Am> , Jade Liu of China’s Super Girl fame will be releasing her new mini album <轉寄 Forward> on the 6th of this month. One of the new songs included is also a mirror of her feelings during her stay abroad in England.
The mini album includes three new songs: <禮物 Present>, <一個人就好 Just Alone> and <崇拜你 Idolizing You>. Jade comments, “Even though this is just a tiny EP, but these three songs completely represent my emotional feelings throughout this entire year”.
Title track’s lyrics was written by Jade herself, and is based on how she traveled to England for love in the past, and how she thought that she could live on just movies, music and love.
Jade says, “I only realized that our schools were so far apart when I arrived in England, and it was so hard for us to meet up. I was unable to adapt to the place, the cold weather and the food, so I spent a lonely period of time all alone.”
This period of being “Lost in England” has lead to Jade being jokingly nicknamed “The Lost Lover of England”, but when she thinks back on her experience now, she feels that all of what she has gone through, good or bad, are presents; and the biggest present of all would be her growing up through these trials and tribulations.
She reveals that the last time she was in Taiwan, she had a sudden stroke of inspiration the night before her recording. After crying in her hotel room, the lyrics of were born.
One part of it goes: “I run barefooted, my blood and tears flow nonstop, I throw away my pride, and admit that I’ve been through hardships”, and Jade admits that “I was alone in another country at that time, so when I heard the demo it was particularly touching”.
In the EP, Jade also sings, written by Tanya Chua, showing a lazy, relaxed side of her voice. In order to promote her new mini album, Jade has come to Taiwan again, but this time she’s no longer going to be lonely.
Apart from tasting the local cuisine, she also researched on swimming pools and bicycle tracks, taking the time to swim and cycle in order to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle that Taipei is known for.

Film 'True Legend' from Jay Chou & Lin Chi Ling
Jay Chou & Lin Chi Ling's film 'True Legend' (Ci Ling) will be released at the end of the year. Their intimate interactions between each other was displayed in the latest issue of Men's Uno. Jay Chou praised Lin Chi Ling: "She is real perfection."
In the interview & photoshoot, their body language was rich & full of tacit understanding. Jay said that during the 2 months of filming 'True Legend', he saw Lin Chi Ling escape from her beautiful appearance, good figure and other shallow understandings of her. But he realized that beneath that all, she really is very perfect.
In the interview, both Jay & Lin Chi Ling revealed their wish of just being an ordinary human being once in awhile. Lin Chi Ling said, usually she will still take the MRT, eat at street vendors, and won't care about how other people see her. As for Jay, who is extremely busy everyday, said that he wishes he could simply stay at home and talk with his mother, watch television, play pool; that would be his idea of living.

Shanghai Sweetheart/Hai Pai Tian Xin Drama
In CTS drama “Shanghai Sweetheart/Hai Pai Tian Xin”, Show Luo (Xiao Zhu) portrays (Lin Da Lang) a mushroom head, mean eyebrow look and scooped chin, because of the interesting “home boy” look; he’s favoured by advertising sponsors. To many others they think the image is from Lu Guang Zhong, on the 2nd it was strongly responded: “3 years ago I discussed with Cai, to say its copied, it should be said copying Chibi Maruku.”

S.H.E's Selina 28th birthday

Last night, it was confirmed that SHINee member Jonghyun is diagnosed with Swine Flu,
however is was said that his body condition is not that bad.
It was an Outbreak. In the last 2 days, Jonghyun was said to have symptoms of cold flu and therefore he went to the hospital to be examined. However the results revealed that the member is diagnosed with Swine Flu and is currently resting at home.
SM Manager revealed: In the meantime, since there are alot of activities going through for the group, they will now participate and now perform as 4 members until Jonghyun gets all cured.
Currently Jonghyun is not staying in the same house with his members.
Shinee members are currently performing their latest song 'Ring Ding Dong' since having a comeback last 2 weeks. This is an outbreak especially for the Shinee fans and SHinee members after winning an award on SBS Inkigayo and KBS Music Bank

FT.triple is currently promoting “Love Letter“
FT.triple members, who started their unit group’s activities recently, were unable to hide their awkwardness and burden feel.
FT.triple met up with a reporter at KBS 2TV Music Bank on 30th October and said that, “We’re doing activities with only 3 members. We feel that something is lacking and we’re awkward. Without the team’s most cheerful member Lee Hongki and Song Seunghyun, we feel even much that way.”
FT.triple is a unit group formed by FT Island members Choi Jonghoon, Choi Minhwan and Lee Jaejin. Lee Hongki is currently busy with the filming of SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful” and Song Seunghyun is also making lots of appearance on various variety programmes.

Zheng Yuan Chang going into music industry
Zheng Yuan Chang is venturing into music industry, in the Ishikawa Japan photo shoot that was included in his EP as free gifts, it has included a lot of beautiful pictures and it has attracted the fans to have the desire to collect it. Being in the famous hot spring ryokan [Kagaya ], Xiao Zong was naked in a hot spring, looked so manly but personally he was someone who is afraid of heat, once he stepped into the hot spring he has been crying out loud because of the heat, but the professional-side of him was able to finish the shoot with a natural and relaxing expression, once he was out of the camera, everyone will be showering him with cold water, to help him to reduce the temperature.

Since he has this rare opportunity to work at oversea, Xiao Zong smiles and says that this trip was like a holiday, it was very satisfying, he gets to see geisha, who is normally being viewed as national treasure here in Japan, walking along the historical street of [Higashi-chayagai] (Higashi Teahouse Street), looking beautifully at her age, and being able to have his picture taken with the geisha, Xiao Zong finds the experience very refreshing. Inside the art-craft shop, the professional certified owner has happily drawn on Xiao Zong's red paper fan.
On 4th November Xiao Zong is having school performances for the first time with Xiao Yu and A-Lin at Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, his previous school tour performance will be more than 2 years ago, he is very nervous, has been remembering his lyrics diligently and having his dance rehearsal as well. This will be his one and only school performance, he is calling out to all the fans to attend this event.

24th Miss Asia International in Hong Kong
The 24th Miss Asia International pageant held its final competition on Sunday in Hong Kong.
Xu Ying from the Chinese mainland was crowned Miss Asia 2009, while Wang His-yao, from Hong Kong/Macau, was first runner-up and Hsu Chia-huei from Taiwan second runner-up.
Organized by one of Hong Kong's leading broadcast companies, Asia Television Limited, the beauty competition has been held annually since 1985, except for a brief halt from 2000 to 2003.
After it was re-launched in 2004, the event started to admit contestants from Asian areas other than Hong Kong.
