SNSD are “Sorry” for parodying Shinhwa’s Jun Jin
SNSD was forced to apologize in person to Shinhwa’s Jun Jin, who is busy promoting his first solo album.
On Melon’s DMB radio that aired May 14, SNSD disrespectfully labeled Jun Jin has ‘Justin Jinberlake’ (they probably thought they were so clever) and did a ridiculous imitation of Jun Jin’s power-punch dance to his title song “Wa”.
Afterward, the Shinhwa fans who watched this radio broadcast were furious, leaving remarks on message boards of Melon radio and SM Entertainment, saying “Isn’t it disrespectful to make fun of a senior singer?”
On May 22, SNSD made a formal, sincere apology in person to Jun Jin, who was waiting in his dressing room before his performance on Mnet M! Countdown.
Jun Jin’s management company, Open World Entertainment, revealed this incident on their homepage on May 22, asking for the fans’ understanding. (Wow, the power of SM – at least they delayed this news from reaching fans until SNSD got a chance to apologize).
According to Open World Entertainment, after reading the comments left by fans, a representative from Open World contacted SNSD’s manager at SM Entertainment, expressing his displeasure and requesting an apology. SM Entertainment’s representative explained that SNSD was only following the radio script and did not deliberately humiliate their senior singer, Jun Jin. Open World confirmed that SNSD met Jun Jin in his dressing room and made a formal apology.
SNSD left a message on Shinhwa’s site, saying that they were very apologetic and that they can’t ask for Shinhwa fans to love them, but to at least forgive them. In return, one fan replied, “ I hope you watch your mouth in the future. You [SNSD] still didn’t apologize for saying that Shin Hye Sung’s voice was like that of a goat. According to SM Entertainment, Shinee is going to lead this generation’s trendy dance, fashion and music. Gigi Lai get’s emotional while fund-raising for the earthquake relief
Gigi Lai attended the Telford Shopping Plaza for the event “震動人心全城緊急救援大行動” to help raise money for the Sichuan earthquake relief. Ever since Gigi had become an Christian she has been heavily involved in charity work. Also due to often working in Mainland China Gigi feel’s very concerned about the earthquake victims. While on stage Gigi became emotionally teary and said “ Since the Sichuan earthquake I have been emotionally influenced by the Hong Kong citizens who have been helping to fund raise for the victims of the earthquake. It will take along time to rebuild their buildings but I hope that people will continue to help them and not forget about them in the long run”. Gigi expressed that she had been to Sichuan a year ago for a store opening. She misses the fresh relaxing atmosphere and the food variety. Her friends who live in Sichuan have been in contact with her and are safe and well.
Originally Gigi was planning to visit Guizhou but due to the earthquake she has decided to rearrange her schedule. “I am very worried about the conditions in Guizhou because it is very near Sichuan. Also the telecommunication services there have been affected making it difficult to know what the current situation is”.

the show itself is just like a male beauty show/a copy of the miss hong kong contest...but in this edition.. showing off muscles and catwalking..
its even more weird when the tvb management only allowed female audiences and judges in the studio where the contest is being held..
i find it quite disgusting for men especially for those musclar ones with lots of oil applied on their body to cat walk in underwears and swimwears in that contest...
(i noticed some of the contestants from the year 2007 contest even had shaved armpit and leg hairs )
it looks like a zoo with many muscular and handsome males in the centre of the stage showing off an animal show performing their talents such as martial arts,yoga,magic tricks and singing..and then the female audiences were yelling on top of their lungs cheering...as if they had never seen men before..
i dont know how these mens feel when they are on stage..cos most of the time, i think men should have more sense of pride,honor and "face" when compared to women...

Everyone is talking about Chinese cutie Kim Chiu’s next teleserye, Pinoy My Girl which premieres on May 26 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida. Kim is perfect as the leading lady for My Girl because of her very exotic and oriental features. She did a lot of preparations for her role which includes learning how to speak in fluent Mandarin. Kim will be playing the character of Jasmine, is a poor yet courageous girl, who learned how to be street smart since she moved places a lot with her father. Sex Is Not a Game ?
Sex Is Not a Game
Sammul Chan’s character in was a calm, cautious, and perfectionist one. His character was under a big pressure just because of an inadvertent small mistake that he had made. His love life was also full of twists and turns. In real life, Sammul admitted that he was wild, made mistakes, and was hurt. But he always thinks that love makes one hopeful.
Sammul thinks highly of love, dating, and marriage. “Love makes one happy and hopeful. It’s an essential thing to have in your life. Many people think that love is only about dating, hugging, or having sex with your partner, but is it only that shallow? Is it true that the reason to date someone is just for the sake of having someone to accompany you?”
A brief happiness, then a deep sadness
There are some people who are in love with each other that are having a premarital sex without carefully considering the consequences first. Sammul feels sorry for those people. “What is your intention when having sex with someone who’s not married to you? Where is the essence of sex? Can you have it that easily? Is your partner willing? A brief happiness can result in a deep sadness afterward, is that worth it? Just take raping for example. Forcing a girl to have sex with you when she’s not willing to is okay for some people, but the doer will be engraving a deep hurt and trauma in her life for sure. Basically, a healthy marriage won’t hurt each other.”
For Sammul, sex if for continuing the lineage, and is an important base for a marriage. It is definitely not a game. “Having sex first then get married is like putting the cart before the horse. Open-minded or not depends on the society’s tolerancy and acceptance. We also have to see the factors and the strength of the surrounding people’s adaption. Hong Kong is a free society, thus the parents’ responsibilities are very important as they have to educate their children, not just telling apart their right and wrong behavior. Many parents feel awkward to teach or even talk to their children about sex, thus vehemently declining to discuss it with their children. Parents should be more open-minded in chatting with their children personally about anything, for example about life skills, and the problems that may come up in dating and marriage, etc.”
Sammul used the “1+1” equation as a metaphor to describe the importance of sex education. “Why do we know that 1+1 equals 2 instead of 1? Why do we understand English and Chinese? It’s because we have learned them since we’re young. Why then sex education is not taught as a life-long lesson? I think sex education should be a compulsory subject to be learned by young students.”

Sammul looks mature and serious, but he also has some childishness in his face. Having been young, he has hurt and been hurt by others in his love and work life. He also told us that he has done something that makes him regretful up until now. He learned how to think clearly and calmly from those experiences.
When young people are facing a temptation and hesitation, Sammul advised, “They first of all have to leave the place to calm themselves. When you have that desire to have sex, you have to leave at once, and then think again whether you really have to do it, or whether it was only an impulsion.”
Sammul really hopes he can do something more for the youth and encourage them. “There are some things that one has to experience for himself to understand something. I won’t say proudly that I never did that, but I will always remember what the Bible says about it, ‘Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. ‘ Life is short, and not all of the youth know that they can’t put the clock back, so do they still have time for lust? If you have some ample time, spend them by traveling, playing some sports, pursuing a higher education degree, or learning some new skills that are more useful.”

And there is such a thing as marital rape. I don't see why he equates premarital sex with rape and marriage with a healthy relationship. They don't always go hand-in-hand.

The newest wave in the entertainment, Jiro Wang, George Hu, and "Mistress of Cute" Rainie Yang, work together for he first time in a Bada project, "Love Will Always Be Together" (Unconfirmed Name). Before filming, the three of them have yet to officially meet, but they already are expecting to hit it off the moment they do. Da Dong has called himself "Master of Cute", and even George Hu has acknowledge himself to be "Smiling Killer", both are expectant to exchange opinions with their female lead about ways to act cute.
The tentative date is around June, to start filming "Love Will Always be Together", Jiro Wang's character is described to be top notch idol singer and idol drama star. But because of a whole string of bad news coming one after the other, his momentum is starting to decrease, becoming an idol with a declining reputation. When he starts to have cash sprout problems, he has no choice but to rent a room outside, and thus, is introduced to his 'Landlady', played by Rainie Yang, as well as the female lead's childhood friend, George Hu.
Speaking of characters, when Jiro Wang was asked on his opinion of an idol's image, he said, "The commissioning of one's mood is important. No matter what happens, be serious in your job." He himself has had the thought that if he did not enter the entertainment industry, he would become a hairstylist, or a fashion designer.
Rainie Yang is collaborating with Jiro Wang for the first time, Rainie will have to portray the character of a 'miyake woman' type of lady. One who does not like to dress up nor act pretty, and who doesn't really have friends. In real life, Rainie does have the slightest bit of 'miyake' taste. When she doesn't have work, she'll stay at home and not go out, the highest record being three days. Even if friends invite her out in the evening, no matter how long they take to persuade her, she would much rather prefer to stay at home lazing around, wilding her time away, and get proper rest.
Acting the female actress's childhood friend, George Hu, will have a breakthrough in his acting career. He will be acting an "Ah Gan" innocence, his intelligence will be equivalent to one of an 8 year old, yet he is a swimming champion. Lately, he has been training his swimming, and even went to the gym for sauna, letting his body become tan, and looking more like a swimming champion.
But George Hu, who has a bright personality, is also a guy who prefers to stay at home. In America, when he was in his teen years, he preferred to stay at home reading his comics, or playing his games, to the point that he didn't step out of his house for one month! "I played my games, stop halfway to run out to the nearest game center to get a memory card, and then run back to my room to continue playing". After coming to Taiwan, he still spent most of his time at home, practicing his calligraphy, or he would spend his time in the gym.
But Jiro Wang is not the slightest bit like his other two co-stars. Last time, he always followed his family to go and offer prayers, and he always loved to go out on his bike, and see the natural surroundings. "I can't stay at home for more then one day without going out. Even if it is going out to buy something or to take a walk, would do." But when he is at home, Jiro would watch DVD's, or sing. "Miss Cotton"
The 5th Cotton USA Awards, meant to help promote the cotton industry, were presented on Wednesday in Tokyo. The awards are given to celebrities who possess "softness" and "freshness," just like cotton.
This year, Maki Horikita was given the title of Miss Cotton, while Eiko Koike was named Mrs. Cotton (she married pro wrestler Wataru Sakata last August). TOKIO's Taichi Kokubun was chosen as Mr. Cotton.
