Mike enter Japan market, Settv drama "Bull fighting" will be broadcasting at Nippon tv next year February. The DVD was released earlier in November. Just from the dvd sales, Mike has earn about 25 million yuan. Japan media called Mike as "Asia first beauty guy".

Super Junior's 3rd album is told to release after their Super Show Encore on January 03 and 04, 2009. Yesterday, Edison’s older sister Tricia, attended a Christmas event, and she wore a T-shirt that was personally designed by Edison. After 2 members of Super Junior Kyu Hyun and Ryeo Wook contributed on TVXQ's Mirotic album song "Wish" with Choi Kang Chang Min and Xiah Jun Su, Xiah Jun Su somewhat showed an interest to be a part of Super Junior's sub-unit by dealing it as a joke. "KRY of Super Junior really got the pitch that I personally adore. TVXQ has five members so there is no chance to form a sub-unit. I want to be a part of KRY not SJ-Happy with Eun Hyuk."

Lady Cop & Papa Crook (大搜查)
A tentative release date of December 24, 2008 in Mainland China has been set for the Sammi Cheng and Eason Chan starring Lady Cop & Papa Crook (大搜查). Eason Chan started promoting the film in Hong Kong yesterday and accepted interviews from the Mainland media. Due to an already packed December schedule, Eason will have to miss the Mainland premiere of this film. When speaking of the film, Eason immediately thanked directors Alan Mak and Felix Chong.
Director Felix Chong says he already eyed for Eason in 2006, "I was at one of his concerts where he wore a crow on top of his hat, at that moment I thought of Leslie Cheung. I'm not saying they look alike, it was their temperament that felt really close." Because of that feeling Felix Chong started thinking about writing a "Siu Sung" (小生) role for Eason, "When we were out drinking I told him I was looking for him to play the "Siu Sung" role, but he thought I was drunk," Felix says.
Eason's surprised reaction came about, as he put it himself, "Because I never thought someone would choose me to play a cool role. Since young, I thought the cool roles were played by actors such as Andy Lau, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, etc. I was sure they would not be played by Eason Chan."
Not yet seen the entire film, but seeing clips during dubbing, Eason expressed that he was already in shock, saying, "This was the first time I saw myself on the screen so cruel and so cool. I really need to thank directors Alan Mak, Felix Chong and the photographer. I am not Takeshi Kaneshiro, but the angle they used to film showed a handsome side. The photographer knew that if they filmed from an angle, the outline of Eason's face would be defined and he will look very cool."
Eason is also especially grateful towards the two directors for two scenes, scenes where Eason thought he didn't act well enough in, which ended up being two of the scenes in the film being praised. "I heard from friends, one scene where I was acting opposite my wife (Michelle Ye) and the other where I was acting opposite Sammi Cheng and honestly telling her my life story, that they thought I acted especially well in those scenes. Honestly, I had the most pressure during those two scenes," Eason says.

Fans of Cantopop star Janice Vidal are in for a treat next month as the Hong Kong singer is set to party with local fans at Ntv7’s Star Live Concert 2008 barely half a year after her debut concert in Malaysia held at Stadium Merdeka in May.
“I miss my fans in Malaysia, and also the Seremban Siew Pau that fans bought for me,” she said in a recent phone interview from Hong Kong, adding that she would leave a message on her online forum for fans to support her at the concert.
Ntv7’s second annual star-studded year-end party is set to usher in the new year with performances by 13 local and international Chinese pop acts.
Held in conjunction with the Dongzhi or Winter Solstice Festival, the concert will be telecast live on Ntv7.
Apart from Vidal, the concert’s top draws are Hong Kong’s Wakin Chow and Vincy, Taiwan’s Harlem Yu, Jam Hsiao, Fan Wei Qi and Y2J, and Singapore’s JJ Lin. On the local front are Danny One, Cheng Lee, Ming, Manhand and Desiree Tan.
The pretty lass was excited to hear that Chow would be performing at the concert. “I’ve been a fan of his since my high school years. The first time I listened to him, I felt very touched. I really look forward to performing on the same stage as Chow. I’ve never met him before, so I’ll take this opportunity to ask for his autograph!”
Would she be singing with Chow? “I certainly hope to do so, although I’d be very satisfied if I could just shake his hand,” replied the 26-year-old bashfully.
Having just staged her Magic Live Concert in Hong Kong, the pop princess will be releasing her fourth album Serving You at the end of this month, two years after her third effort, Do U Know.
“I’ll be performing a new song Even If There Are No Fairy Tales in this World. Unlike other songs that I’m used to singing, this song is full of warmth and hope. Besides love songs, I hope to explore other genres. That’s why my new album will include more tunes with elements of hope and encouragement.”

It has just been confirmed that KAT-TUN will be releasing their 8th single "White X'mas," in Korea on the 17th of December.
For those of you not in the know, KAT-TUN is an extremely popular 6 member J-Pop group from Johnny's Entertainment (Japan's equivalent of SM Entertainment). Other artists from Johnny's Entertainment include KinKi Kids, V6, Arashi and NewS.

“ Voice ” will be released on Wednesday
TOKYO —Singer Mika Nakashima, 25, on Monday night performed for 500 fans in front of Tokyo’s biggest Christmas trees in Daiba to introduce her latest songs “Orion” and “Life.”
Nakashima, who took part in the lighting ceremony of the 15-meter Christmas tree adorned by some 30,000 LEDs, held a mini concert for her fans. She said, “I have never seen such as a big tree before.”
Her latest album “Voice” will be released on Wednesday.

Ethan Ruan is a regular at fashion events
Ethan Ruan is a regular at fashion events, and after seeing lots, he is now pro at arranging clothes himself. Yesterday, Amber Guo visited the cast of “Defeated Queen” and Ethan was wearing 2 jackets outside a T-shirt. One was a yellow jacket with a checkered collar, and outside that was another leather jacket. Even though he plays the role of a very ordinary working-class man, his clothes definitely displayed his high fashion style.
Ethan laughed and said that during filming of “Fated To Love You”, as he played the role of Ji Cun Xi, he always had to wear suits, and this gave him a big headache. But as for this role, he can wear his own favourite clothes and show it off to everyone, he is especially happy that he can wear jeans. However, he who is already 27 years old has to play a 20-year old guy this time, and everyday he has to practise acting cute infront of the mirror!

Music Monster Festival
Recently Lollipop participated in Singapore event “Music Monster Festival”, 3000 fans attended and their screams made Lollipop barely hear the music. To give the Singapore fans a surprise A Wei, Ao Quan and Xiao Jie especially cut and choreograph a new dance name “終極毀滅舞”.
Xiao Jie hurt his leg during practice so he was only able to remember the choreograph and the stage movements. Before performing Wei Lian helped him to bandage and Xiao Jie endure the pain while dancing, he said “Had to perform live while I haven’t been practicing dancing for 2 weeks, so nervous!” Luckily the performance went well.
Other than the Music Monster Festival concert Lollipop also held a autograph event, a lot of fans participated but every fans obey the rules which made the event went smoothly. Lollipop also signed more than 3600 copies of their CDs, Ao Quan said “We hardly go to Singapore so even if our hands are sore we still sign!” Other than performing, Lollipop was also looking forward to Singapore’s foods; Wei Lian especially went on a diet for 2 weeks just to eat.

new movie directed by American filmmaker Hans Canosa
Maki Horikita and Kenichi Matsuyama have been cast as co-stars in a new movie directed by American filmmaker Hans Canosa ("Conversations with Other Women"). Although the movie is being made primarily for the Japanese market, there are plans to have the film screened in the U.S., and some of the dialogue will be in English.
The movie's working Japanese title is "Nakushita Kioku." It is based on the novel "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac" by American author Gabrielle Zevin, which tells the story of a girl named Naomi who loses the last four years of her memory after falling down a staircase. Korean Journal Unforgettable 2008
Se7en will perform tonight November 21st at the Korean Journal Unforgettable 2008 cocktail/dinner/performance/awards ceremony. The event is hosted by comedian Margaret Cho, and John Cho, Kaba Modern, and Suchin Pak will attend. Tickets are a whopping $250! Let’s put it this way, Margaret Cho, John Cho, Kaba Modern, Suchin Pak, and Se7en all combined aren’t worth $250.
Se7en is also scheduled to perform “Them Girls” in Seattle on December 13th at Fremont Studios Club under the guise of a pre-release party.

Wonder Girls Tell Me " So Hot " album
The following are statistics compiled by the Music Industry Association of Korea (MIAK) pertaining to the album sales volume for the Wonder Girls Tell Me, So Hot, Nobody albums for the months of August and September.
Nobody had some amazing numbers upon it’s release on 22nd September, selling 28,160 copies (No.20), it’s best-ever showing since it’s debut.
So Hot have sold a total of 45,737 copies (No.17) since it was released on 3rd June with 3,946 shipped for the month of August. It proceeded to sell 3,762 copies (No.11) in September with accumulated sales of 49,499 albums.
Wonder Girls first album The Wonder Years came in at No.47 with accumulated sales of 72,823, selling 993 copies in August. Numbers for September were unavailable as it dropped out of the top 50 finally after nearly a year.

Taiwan stallion Ethan Ruan new drama “Defeated Queen”
Taiwan stallion Ethan Ruan is currently filming for his new drama “Defeated Queen”. When describing a passionate bed scene with Cheryl Yang, he blurted out, “She sees that I’m so small, and immediately kicks me off the bed!” Looking at everyone’s dumbfounded expressions, he immediately clarified, “Is age small la.”
Following SETTV’s “Fated To Love You”, Ethan’s new drama “Defeated Queen” has already begun filming, and tells of an older girl-younger guy story. During practise, he had bed scenes with each of Cheryl Yang, Sui Tang, Su Hui Lun. When filming officially began, he immediately got into the bed with Cheryl. Ethan should be quite familiar with this already, and during the scene, he took off his t-shirt, and passionately kissed Cheryl from the sofa, to the wall, and finally to the bed. However, Cheryl is obviously not used to this, and facing the unfamiliar Ethan, her neck was so stiff that she had a spasm, and almost couldn’t continue filming.
Back when he had his bed scene with Chen Qiao En, they 2 were also very unfamiliar with each other. Now, it is the same situation with Cheryl. Ethan admitted that with both these girls, he filmed bed scenes with them first before getting to know them better. However, his biggest worry right now is that, previously his Taichung friends kept asking him, “Is Qiao En hot?” and now is going to change into, “Is Cheryl hot?”
Cheryl Yang and Wen Shen Hao acted as husband and wife in the film “1895”, and had kiss scenes. Now, they are going to act as a couple again in “Defeated Queen”. When asked about comparisions of the kiss scene between Wen Sen Hao and Ethan, Cheryl obviously wanted to avoid this question, and in the end, awkwardly said that with Wen Shen Hao, because of the time which the movie is set, it was the ancient kind of method, and with Ethan she replied, “It’s more of a playful type of kiss.”

One of the most openly affectionate couples in the K-entertainment sphere, who were largely expected to announce wedding plans sometime soon (possibly even this year), has instead broken it off.

The two traveled to the U.S. together as recently as this summer, and shot a fashion spread together in New York in September.

She admitted it in press interviews on November 22, saying she couldn’t keep lying to the public further — the split occurred at the end of October. It’s particularly surprising since the couple hadn’t given signs of much trouble or fighting leading up to this news.
Kim confessed that it was a one-sided decision; Lee initiated the breakup, which came as a shock to her. She fought tears as she conducted her interview, saying, “It felt like I’d been in an unexpected car accident” and “I felt like I’d been shot.”
She admits that it’s difficult dealing with the shock of the breakup, and had just begun work on her new series General Hospital 2 when Lee dumped her. The drama just began airing this Wednesday on MBC.

Jay Chou event in Taiwan to Azio TV
Asia heavenly king Jay Chou has given his last promotional event in Taiwan to Azio TV, but it was not fated for Jay Chou to meet his ex girlfriend Patty Hou as he came to record the show at Azio TV. On the "Capricorn Magic Competition" held by the show, Jay Chou smiled saying he already went crazy over magic, even though he was there as a guest, but he couldn't help himself and showed off his new trick, he started off with a "sipping milk through thin air" trick, he smiled saying: "Drinking alcohol is bad for you, it's better to drink milk." The astonishing magic caused the audience to applaud and cheer.
Even though it's not everyday he gets to take on the "side role" on the show, but Jay Chou didn't mind at all, he was really into it for the whole competition, he also hoped the audience would give more applause to the competitors. There was a competitor who performed a table levitation, Jay Chou amusingly moved his hands along with it, he pretended he was the one making the table float. When he saw amazing performances, not only did Jay Chou's expression radiant with delight, he also generously praised it "Very diao", "Very amazing", "It scared me a bit", he was not stingy with giving encouragement and praise.
There was a tall and big competitor who played Arabian feeling music when he performed, Jay Chou joked saying: "This music really suits you, but if you switch your prop from a cup to lamp, that'll definitely be great." Jay Chou's passion for magic and his friendly attitude made a competitor speak out what was in their heart: "I'm performing the clown and the magician today, I want to tell Jay Chou, I'm the clown, he's the magician."
On the day of the competition 5 competitors went into the finals, the winner at the end was a 16 year old boy, amazingly he got the card Jay Chou picked into a bottle, he also brought along exciting spiritual prophecies, at the end he got the support of 7 out of the 10 judges, he won and became the champion of the "Capricorn Magic Competition", he also got the mobile phone Jay Chou is spokesperson for. Andy lau is at Taipei Arena on 21 and 22 November 2008
It had been 1 year since Andy Lau made a public appearance in Taiwan, 6 years since his last concert in Taiwan. He touched down in Taiwan last night for his concert on 21 and 22 November 2008 at the Taipei Arena. The tickets are almost sold out, it can be considered as the concert with the best box office in the second half of 2008. Alleged couple Ella of S.H.E and Chun of Fahrenheit had indicated that they would be attending the concert. For the first night, the artistes that would go watch Andy includes Barbie Hsu, Cai Kang Yong, Show Luo, Lollipop and Chun of Fahrenheit.
Hundreds fans were at the airport to welcome him. Andy was dressed in black sportswear with sunglasses, he appeared relaxed. When they see their idol, they could not hold their excitement as they all rushed forward and chased after him, one even lose his/her shoes. Cameras' flash kept flashing and the fans even gave him presents and flowers. When asked what he's currently busy with, Andy quipped: "Busy with my son." When asked why his sons did not followed him, he said: "They came here earlier than me."

15th anniversary of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild
On 12 December, it will be the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, Performing Artistes Glory 15 Years - a retro theme party was held at InterContinental Hotel two nights ago, there were a total of 42 tables. Most of the artistes attended dressed up in 60s and 70s. Among all artistes, the "broom head" of the Wynners were the most eye catching.
The Guild president Alan Tam expressed that he hope that the dinner would be able to raise $2000,000. The Guild will be collaborating with the government to visit primary and secondary schools around Hong Kong, they will be give them some educational talks, show them the videos of the Sichuan earthquake victims, allowing the students to gain more knowledge, in order for them to cherish their studies and living environment.
Andy Lau whom wore the same outfit as dubbing artist Chow Yat Too, he quipped that for this party he specially dig out this hunter outfit from the warehouse, he wore it once when shooting A Dance of a Dream, he also spend lots of time to find the retro looking glasses from many optical shops. His outlook won praises.
As Andy will be staging his concert in Taiwan, but he still delay his schedule to attend this party. There was an auction to raise funds, Andy auction a day with him, other than a free bowling ball, he would accompany the successful bidder for bowling, tea and meals, he quipped: "I'll be charging fees, that day would be very expensive!"

Kaori Mochida vocalist of Every Little Thing
Kaori Mochida, the vocalist of Every Little Thing, will be launching a solo project next year. On January 28, she will release her first single, which is currently untitled. The single will include three songs.
Mochida just launched her official site under Avex on Thursday. She wrote on the site that she has been considering a solo project ever since Every Little Thing's 10th anniversary in 2006.
Mochida mentioned that she and Ichiro Ito will still continue on as Every Little Thing.

TV Asahi announced producing a big budget drama
In August, TV Asahi announced that it is producing a big budget drama special titled "Keikan no Chi," based on the acclaimed novel by Jo Sasaki. Further details have now been revealed, highlighting just how ambitious the project is.
It was already known that Yosuke Eguchi, Hidetaka Yoshioka, and Hideaki Ito would be starring in the drama, playing three generations in a family of cops. It turns out that the cast will be composed of over 150 people, including many top actors such as Koichi Sato, Katsunori Takahashi, Shinobu Terajima, Shigeru Izumiya, Masato Ibu, and Miyoko Asada.
Filming took place across the country for 3 months, wrapping up in early November. The production cost amounts to several hundred million yen, making it one of the most expensive dramas ever produced by the network. The finished work, clocking in at 5 hours long, will be broadcast this winter.

29th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony
The 29th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony will be held at 7.25pm on the 20th of November at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. Korea's red hot bands Dong Bang Shin Ki, Wonder Girls and Rain, etc have been invited to participate in this year's awards ceremony and will be perfoming their songs on stage.

YUI released her B-side best album " MY SHORT STORIES "
Last week, singer-songwriter YUI released her B-side best album "MY SHORT STORIES." The collection sold a total of 174,000 copies to take #1 for the week. Mr.Children had a B-side album top the charts in May 2007, but the only female artist to previously achieve that was Seiko Matsuda in 1984. "MY SHORT STORIES" also marks YUI's third consecutive number-one album.
Three other female singers entered the top ten: Beyonce (#3), Christina Aguilera (#5), and Enya (#6). Dir en grey managed to make #4 with their new album, while The Birthday edged into the #10 spot.
On the singles chart, Dreams Come True took #1 with 46,000 copies of their latest, "Tsuretette Tsuretette." While the group now has 11 number-one singles, this is their first since becoming a duo in 2002. Their last chart-topper came 9 years and 10 months ago, which sets a record for the longest gap between number-ones by a group.

Angie Cai's new drama " 王子看見二公主 "
Acting ugly for comedy purposes has become the next in thing in idol dramas. Dylan Kuo has quickly caught up with the trend and in Angie Cai's new drama "王子看見二公主", he's going to be idiotic. Director Winnie even set rules "Do not show me that deep and serious look again!" However, Dylan has the habit already so in the first day of working, he actually NGed over 20 times.
"王" was filming it's opening theme yesterday and Dylan had to comb his hair high up, revealing the forehead, becoming the male version of Rainie Yang. Originally, the script needed him to curl his hair but he was reluctant and it changed to just Afro-hairstyle. Dylan is acting as a stupid and dumb geek in the drama and will be working with Miao Ke Li and Bai Yun who are both very comical people. He originally thought that he would need alcohol to open up but in the end, once he was filming, he started to relax and even when Miao Ke Li accidentally kissed his lips, he replied glibly "Miao Jie is really very pretty!"

Recently, “Pi Li MIT” are selling their props, Aaron Yan’s cellphone in the drama auctioned for over 20,000TWD, however he forgot to delete all the phone numbers and photos, and one of the photos was an intimate one of GuiGui embracing him from behind. After the broadcasting station was informed, they immediately deleted it.

Park Yong-ha's climbed to the number ten spot
Actor and recording artist Park Yong-ha's seventh single album has climbed to the number ten spot on Japan's Oricon Music Chart.
Park's latest single entitled "Say Goodbye." reached the number ten spot on the day of its release. His new single album contains three new songs including "Say Goodbye" and "December Sky."
On November 25, Park will also release his first studio album in three years entitled "Love." His sixth studio album will contain 13 songs, including a bonus track.
For the first time since 2006, Park will hold an arena tour concert in Japan. He will perform in Yokohama on December 3, in Tokyo on December 20 and 21 and in Osaka on January 8, 2009.
