New TV series "跑馬場"

One of TVB's rumored couples Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu will shoot director Tsui Siu Ming's new TV series <跑馬場>*, and the two can admit loving each other in the series. Set in the late Qing dynasty and early republic, Bosco plays someone from the Qing royal family and he develops a romantic relationship with Myolie. Besides the rumored couple, this series also stars Korean star Jang Na Ra. Tsui discloses they invested more than 20 million HKD in this project. The story is about the spy activities happened in Liao Dong race club in Qinghai.

Tsui hopes to build foundation for Hong Kong actors to work in Mainland, that's why he asks the rumored couple to be in his project. "They're popular actors in TVB and have many other work to do. They're high paid actors as well," Tsui admits.

As for playing a couple with Bosco again, Myolie expresses as an actor, she will play any suitable character and she hopes to expand her career in different markets, but will still see Hong Kong as the main one.

Upcoming idol drama, “Hayate the Combat Butler”

GTV showcased their upcoming idol drama, “Hayate the Combat Butler” (adaptation of the popular manga), at the Television Festival. The main cast: Korean actress Park Shin Hye, the four member boy group Wu Hoo (formerly known as Wu-Hu-Jiang), and Otaku Goddess Tia Li were all there for the showcase. In regards to netizens criticizing that Park Shin Hye is too old for the role and Tia’s chest is too big to be a maid, GTV especially invited the original creator to support the cast; Park Shin Hye and Tia also emphasized that the script has been modified to better suit their characters.

The production team didn’t waste anytime as they brought Park Shin Hye to test out her new drama character’s image styles right after the press conference. As reported earlier, the drama will begin its filming in October. Park Shin Hye expressed that it’ll take her a while to get used to the living styles of Taiwan, but she’s very happy to be filming with the handsome George Hu and beautiful Tia Li. She further commented that it almost feels like she’s filming the sequel of “You Are Beautiful”, especially when she’s surrounded by "all the good looking guys of Wu Hoo."

Upcoming drama “回家 (Returning Home)”

The big news yesterday at the 2010 Taipei Television Festival was most definitely GTV’s adaptation of “Hayate the Combat Butler”. But not to be outdone, local idols led by Vic Chou also proved to be very popular with participants from the TV industry. His upcoming wartime drama “回家 (Returning Home)” quickly caught the media's attention with the announcement of Janine Chang (張鈞甯) as his costar.

The two will reunite for a third time after last year’s hit “Black and White” and the movie “Tea Fight (鬪茶)”. Although Vic Chou has long been attached to the project, Janine Chang came as a surprise since there hasn’t been any news of her involvement previously. Due to its sensitive subject matter, the big-budget production is still pending approval from the mainland. (Read more about Vic Chou’s role in “Returning Home” here.)

There was another piece of interesting news concerning Vic Chou at the festival – His name was mentioned for “The Taipei Shop of Coffee Prince” (yes, it’s a remake) which Jerry Yan was said to have dropped out earlier. Unfortunately this could be purely a case of who the producers want rather than who they are able to cast.

There were other (failed) casting news at the festival -- Producer Shen Shi Hua (沈時華) had hoped to cast Van Ness Wu and Vivian Hsu in the drama “瑰寶 (The Artifacts)”, but was turned down for obvious reasons. Two other dramas listed rumored ex-couple Tammy Chen and Li Wei as the leads. Chen’s manager responded on the pairing, “Not possible.”

Andy Lau's 49th birthday celebration

Tomorrow is the heavenly king Andy Lau's 49th birthday. Suffered from the secret marriage incident last year, yesterday he held a birthday party to celebrate with fans, and his parents appeared as special guests. But wife Carol Chu didn't show up.

Andy danced and sang at the party, making it seem like a mini concert. He got emotional towards the end and had to wipe tears constantly. Then staff brought out a huge cake with many photos of him over these years, and invited his parents to the stage to cut the cake and open changpane.

Andy disclosed besides birthday party, he also had a tea party with fans today and he would celebrate with family tomorrow. Asked what gift did wife gave him? He smiled and said he really won't answer this question. It's said his concert tickets sold out, he said he is trying to buy tickets for his fan club, but because company reserved many tickets for sale, he couldn't buy much on his own.

Asked about the rumors that billionaire Lee Shau Kee is planning acquiring TVB for 9 billion HKD, Andy indicated that if he were TVB, he would absolutely sell -- especially with the approval of additional free-to-air television licenses as early as next year, if there is a good price now, it's the best time to sell. Andy smiled and also jokingly said that he wonders if Uncle Four (Lee Shau Kee's nickname) is interested in buying his fan club (Andy World). He said he wasn't serious about selling his fan club, but was just wondering what the price would be.

This year Moses Chan and Wayne Lai are the hot choices for the TV King award. Yesterday the two met in Tuen Mun for a magazine award ceremony. New film in Beijing

Last month, Louis Koo accidentally injured his left leg while filming action scenes for his new film in Bejing, resulting in ligament rupture and meniscal tear. The day before, Louis wrote on his website telling his fans that he is fine, he said that he got the surgery done on Mid-Autumn Festival day: "Besides getting my ligaments fixed, the doctor also discovered that I had problems with meniscal tear, so I have to undergo physical therapy. A new movie coming out soon from Jet Li and Angelina Jolie

A famous Chinese action movie star Jet Li, and American movie actress Angelina Jolie are expected to be included in a new movie to be produced in Cambodia.

In a press conference held on Wednesday in Phnom Penh, Thomas Magyar, a project manager for the planned movie, and Tony Schiena, a project coordinator and a Hollywood star said the film they had planned to produce will be named as "Great Khmer Empire."

They said the film might cost approximately 70 million U.S. dollars and it will need about three years to make it, saying the large time span will be caused by the consultations with Cambodian government and historians on accuracy of the history as well as the script writing.

Both Tony Schiena and Thomas Magyar said, to date, they are looking at several famous movies stars such as Jet Li, Chinese action star, Angelina Jolie, an American movie actress, John Cena, world's famous wrester and South Korean movie actress Song Hye Kyo among others.

The movie will focus on history of Cambodia, especially, during the glorious period in 11th and 12th century under the King Jayavarman the VII, who until today, considered as the great King of Cambodia and who finished up the building of Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia.

Angelina Jolie adopted a Cambodian son and was granted a Cambodian citizenship.

She was also a star in the famous movie titled "Tomb Raider" which some parts of the episodes were also shot in Siem Reap province where many temples including Angkor Wat Temple are located in.

New China TV series "Ghost Catcher: Legend of Beauty"

Mainland China TV series has been airing on various satellite stations and capturing #1 in the ratings, making the series a huge success. Yesterday, reporters were advised that the production company in mainland China has plans for a sequel to the series in the works. During an interview with reporters, the male lead of the series – Hong Kong actor Bobby Au Yeung – candidly admits that he wants to use the success of this series to make a name for himself in the mainland China television market and not be restricted to just being ‘TVB’s First Brother.’

Earlier Wayne Lai and his son filmed an advertisement for PARKnSHOP supermarket, and the advertiser asked Wayne to be the spokesperson again offering a satisfying price to invite him and his wife Julia for the shoot. During filming, Mr. and Mrs. Lai were doing what they usually do, grocery shopping together while pushing the shopping cart. The couple frankly said that normally when they have time they would go out together to get carryout. Wayne said: "Usually I'm the one going out to buy it, my wife would keep a lookout in the car because it's more of an advantage for me to buy, the seller usually gives me the best ones and good prices when grocery shopping."

Julia frankly said that this is the first time she's shooting a TV ad and was so nervous that she got a stomachache. Asked Wayne between his wife and son, who has the talent? CCTV-MTV Music Awards

Super Junior member Hangeng, who launched his solo singing career in China after he sued his agency, SM Entertainment, said he will not give up the Korean market despite focusing on the Chinese music market.

In a recent interview with Chinese media, Hangeng said being a solo artist is quite stressful compared to being in Super Junior where he would only do his part.

Hangeng, the only Chinese member of Super Junior, sued SM Entertainment in December last year to void his exclusive contract with the Korean agency.

He returned to China where he started charting his solo career as a singer.

Despite what happened, Hangeng believes that he still has fans in Korea.
“There are still fans who are supporting me over there after all,” Hangeng said in a translation by fan forum geng-bao.net.

Hangeng released his first solo Chinese album “Geng Xin” in July and to date, it has sold 350,000 copies in China, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong.


A new version of the album will be released on Oct. 1 that will contain 10 songs and seven music videos.

Hangeng recently held an album signing event in Shenzhen where he met with fans.

Despite being new in the Chinese music market, Hangeng has snagged a nomination as Most Popular Mainland Male Singer in the 10th CCTV-MTV Music Awards.

Hangeng is nominated in the category together with C-pop singers Sun Nan, Wang Feng, Chen Kun, Huang Xiaoming.

The music awards will recognize outstanding singers in the C-pop industry from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

The CCTV-MTV Music Awards will be held on Oct. 18 in Beijing.

Lee Hom's new music video 'Xu Yao Ren Pei'

It was supposed to be a happy affair, but things didn't turn out as expected.

For Lee Hom's new music video 'Xu Yao Ren Pei', the singer took a leap of faith and decided to show some flesh - a rare first move for the reserved superstar.

As the song talks about the feelings of lovelorn singles experiencing loneliness at night, Lee Hom decided to portray his emotions by depicting scenes of romance between city-dwellers.

During filming, Lee Hom had to lie on a bed, while a sexy female model attempts to unbutton his clothes seductively.

So provocative was the act that female crew members on set turned bashful on seeing Lee Hom film the scene.

"This is not the Wang Lee Hom that I know of," they said.

The good-looking singer-songwriter, one of the most coveted bachelors in the Mandopop scene, has previously filmed a "bedroom scene" with actress Shu Qi in MV 'Di Yi Ge Qing Chen'. However, there had been no actual intimate contact during filming then.

The star, who had intentionally uglified himself in his directorial debut film Love in Disguise, hopes that the MV will continue to help defy stereotypes about him.

"Although filming (intimate scenes) can get a little embarrassing, it's still worth it to give my 'first-time" to my own MV," Lee Hom said.

While the 33-year-old is excited about challenging new grounds, his record company is fretting over Lee Hom's venture.

For fear of ruining the singer's clean image, Lee Hom's label originally planned to censor overtly explicit scenes from the MV - only to receive strong objections from the star himself, who insisted otherwise for aesthetics sake.

Both sides finally came to a compromise and Lee Hom's new MV will be specially edited into a "romantic version" for air on television.

The full uncut version will only be made exclusively available in his album.

KARA doing well on Oricon Chart

KARA, who was doing well on Oricon Chart and had just returned home, was invited by Sports Seoul for their special edition #8000 interview. This is the first interview after it was announced in Japan that KARA is the first Korean Girl Group to make such a remarkable result on Oricon Chart. Last Month (11 August), Kara made debut with single 'Mister', on the released day, it was ranked at #5 on Oricon Chart which surprised the Japan music world. Even after one week, KARA maintained at #5 on Oricon Weekly Chart. Excluding Japan, KARA is Asia's First Girl Group to be on top 10 for their first week of album release on Oricon Weekly Chart. Filming for Vic Zhou's new drama "Returning Home" is just around the corner and the first batch of cast list is out, including Wang Que Qi, Yang Kuei-mei, Zhang Chen-Guang and Liu De-kai, full of big, authoritative stars. Zaizai will be playing a military doctor and will be sporting a "七分頭"* short hairstyle on screen, the shortest since his debut. After last year's Golden Bell award disappointment, Vic hopes to be affirmed by the public with under the accompaniment of so many skillful actors.

After completing "Black and White", Vic has decided not to accept any more roles in pure romance idol dramas. In the past half-year, he has only shot the film "Love you ten thousand years", rejecting almost 20 drama offers from both Taiwan and China, putting his focus in preparing for .

The drama is about the story of Zaizai who received medical-training in Taiwan, and was sent by the Japanese army to Mainland China in 1945 during the Sino-Japanese War as a Taiwanese- Japanese military doctor**. He went through suffering until the victory of China over Japan, but due to his identity as part of the Japanese army, he was unable to return home (to Taiwan). Throughout the drama he will be tested on his deep emotional/ psyche acting, with heavy cross-scenes together with Wang Xue Qi who portrays a Kuomintang General.

Vic has been painstakingly learning Japanese for this drama, and the film crew arranged a doctor to train him on the proper use of stethoscope and scalpel of 60 years ago. Zaizai's manager Mr Chih said that when Zaizai chooses a role he does not consider winning awards but only care about whether there is unceasing growth. Thus he is looking forward to this drama for the opportunity to work with so many skillful and experienced actors.

ELVA's latest album "Miss ELVA"

Pre-orders of Taiwanese singer ELVA's latest album "Miss ELVA" has reached its tenth day, where pre-orders had already hit 40,000. The self-titled track for the album has also been on YouTube for six days, and views for that track's MV has surpassed 140,000. Since ELVA's latest album has surged in popularity, the singer originally wished to show her appreciation to the generous love of her fans by holding an album signing this weekend until it was canceled because of a typhoon.

ELVA grudingly wrote on her Weibo microblogging account, "Everyone's lucky that I'm the rain goddess. Whoever said I was 'Miss ELVA'? There's a lot of 'water (symbols)' in my (Chinese) name." More specifically, the flight attendant accused Jolin of the rude behavior that was given to her. In response, ELVA gave her side of the story to clear up the events that were reported by the flight attendant, since ELVA was together with Jolin on the flight. Due to Jolin's agent being busy at the time that Jolin was embarking on her flight, her agent entrusted Jolin to both ELVA and her agent. "Jolin clearly went to sleep once we boarded the plane," ELVA said. "What the flight attendant said about the rude behavior, it should have been about my agent!"

45th Taiwan Golden Bell Awards

The nominees for the 45th Taiwan Golden Bell Awards were announced in the afternoon on the 20th. Jay Chou held his 3rd night at the Hong Kong Coliseum

Yesterday night Jay Chou held his 3rd night at the Hong Kong Coliseum, a special guest appeared, it was Eric Tsang. 1st New York Chinese Film Festival

The 1st New York Chinese Film Festival kicked off on Saturday at Lincoln Center in New York City and the Chinese movie "Deep in the Clouds" <碧罗雪山> was showed after the opening ceremony.

Before the opening ceremony, top entertainers including movie stars Cecilia Cheung, Zhang Hanyu, Su Youpeng and Chinese "Super Girl" winner Zhang Liangying walked through the red carpet, raising fans' cheer and screaming.

Shen Jian, a producer of Chinese movie channel CCTV-6, said the first New York Chinese Film Festival is to introduce Chinese history and social reality to the American public and show the achievements of the Chinese movie industry.

The opening movie "Deep in the Clouds," which gained three awards in 13th Shanghai Film Festival, told a story about Chinese minority people's lives.

TVB new series Men and Women Chooses Residence

Yesterday Michael Miu, Sonjia Kwok, Ron Ng, Michael Tse, Joyce Tang and JJ Jia attended the costume fitting for TVB new series Men and Women Chooses Residence. The series was accused of plagiarizing Mainland popular drama Dwelling Narrowness. Michael said: "Not a copy, both have its own styles, but I'm already prepared for Netizens to criticize." Upcoming 45th Golden Bell Awards

The nomination list for the upcoming 45th Golden Bell Awards was released yesterday, and a stiff competition is in store.

Top Taiwanese variety show female show hosts Matilda Tao and Regine Wu were nominated for the best variety show host category - the fourth time for both ladies.

Both their works are also in the running the best variety programme award.

Other competitors for the best host award include the "variety big brother" Chang Fei, Harlem Yu and veteran comedian Zhu Geliang.

On her nomination, Matilda Tao expressed that she does not mind being compared to Regine, and said that she had benefitted a lot from watching determined young people while hosting talent show One Million Star.

When reporters asked Regine about her thoughts on making the list, the host said that she will "view the award (win) with a peaceful mind," but admitted that she was disappointed that her programme, Hot Queen Palace, did not make the cut.

SMAP concert in Shanghai is in danger of being cancelled

The entire SMAP concert in Shanghai is in danger of being cancelled after it was revealed yesterday that concert ticket sales have been stopped since September 19, it was revealed yesterday, reports Yomiuri Shinbum, Sports Hochi, and Sponichi Annex.

SMAP’s Shanghai EXPO performance in June had been cancelled after fears it could send fans into a panic. In August, the group announced they would perform concerts in Shanghai, which was expected to attract more than 80,000 fans. Since then the members had been updating fans about rehearsals and how they were learning to sing one of their songs in Chinese for them.

At SMAP’s concert in Tokyo on September 15, the Chinese ambassador to Japan 程永華 had made a special appearance.

“From the bottom of my heart I wish you all great success with your Shanghai concert,” he said.

It has been reported that even after the concert, group members talked with the ambassador and had taken photos with him.

Although SMAP member Takuya Kimura had said their project in China was, “something politics can’t do, our role is to interact with people from their core,” the group’s fate now depends on the political issues between the two countries.

2NE1 comeback 1st album ‘To Anyone’

2NE1 has been criticised for their upcoming special comeback stage where they will be performing their triple title songs.

According to YG Entertainment on 8th September, “2NE1 will be performing 3 songs for their comeback stage – ‘Go Away’, ‘Clap Your Hands’ and ‘Can’t Nobody’. All 3 songs will be pre-recorded.”

The usual case for singers’ comeback stages is that they will perform at most 2 songs and for the case of the song which is not the title song, the performance for it will be a shorter version. But in 2NE1′s case, they will be performing 3 full songs.

An Inkigayo official said, “Before the reveal of the song, we have already pre-recorded the performance of one of the songs in secrecy. For the rest of the 2 songs, we will do the pre-recording on 12th September. The performance in all will be around 3~4 minutes more than the usual performance duration but it will not cause any harm to other singers.”

Currently other YG Ent singers who are promoting are Se7en and TaeYang, but on 12th September, TaeYang will not be performing and Se7en is taking a break before he starts promoting ‘I’m Going Crazy’.

Even though the arrangement for the comeback stage is agreed upon by the agency and the broadcast company, there have been opinions coming from the music scene with officials quoted commenting, “2NE1 will take about 10 minutes for their comeback stage, that is like the time for 4 newcomer singers to perform”, “Isn’t this episode going to be like a 2NE1 special edition?” etc.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 will have their comeback stage on 12th September for their comeback 1st album ‘To Anyone’.

2010 My Favourite Artist Ranking

As voted by 20,000 music fans, popular idol group Arashi took the top spot in the '2010 My Favourite Artist Ranking'. Results were announced on the 8th. Since 2004, entertainment magazine Ori★Suta has been running the poll annually. Last year was Arashi's first year to make it to the top 10, earning a respectable fourth place finish. This year however, they have already climbed straight to the top.

The magazine polled readers as well as members of the Oricon Monitor Research. Around 20,000 people took part in the poll, with equal amounts of male and female participants from different age categories starting from the teens (10's) to those in their 40's (approximately 2,500 people in each group). Not only did Arashi take first place overall, but out of the 14 different categories, they placed first within 7 of them. It proves they are well liked across different age groups as well as by both male and female audiences.

Of the many comments left by voters, some of them said, "Arashi has a perfect balance of singing, dancing and talking", "They have great relationships with each other", "All five members have unique personalities". It seems there were many reasons why they were voted first. The latest issue of Ori★Suta will be released on the 10th.

KH Stars-Ring Ding Dong

SM Entertainment speaks up officially about a Cambodian boyband who has been labeled as the ‘copy group’ to SHINee.

A video titled ‘KH Stars-Ring Ding Dong’ has been uploaded online on Youtube recently. In the video, a 5-member Cambodian boygroup singing and dancing to SHINee’s hit song ‘Ring Ding Dong’. Even though the group tries to follow the song through MR and the signature dance moves, the quality of their performance is different from SHINee’s.

Regarding this, SM Entertainment announced on 7th September, “We have not heard anything from anyone in Cambodia about using ‘Ring Ding Dong’. We are currently in the midst of contacting officials from Cambodia and confirming details, after which we will respond with legal actions.”

Meanwhile, SHINee is set to perform in Cambodia coming February.

New movie Perfect Wedding (抱抱俏佳人)

Although Miriam Yeung's concert is happening soon, she's appearing every day at events. Last night, she attended an event for a magazine. Miriam expressed that she'll begin her retreats later this month because it is the time to promote for her new album, so must accommodate. Also, in addition to her concert rehearsals she'll have to attend some public functions that she accepted earlier on. Single released on November 24

SDN48 has wrapped up its own "senbatsu" election for its first major label single, as announced last month. Former AKB48 member Megumi Ohori (27) ranked #1 by a wide margin, taking the top rank in all three voting categories. As a result, she will have the center position on the upcoming release.

The rest of the 12 elected members, in order, are Yukari Sato, Kayo Noro, KONAN, Kazumi Urano, Haruka Umeda, Serina, Mami Kato, Haruka Kohara, Kana Ito, Kazue Akita, and Sakura Fukuyama.

Their single, which is not yet titled, will be released on November 24.

‘Blu-ray Disc-KARA VACATION’ #1 on Oricon

With a successful debut in Japan, girlgroup KARA ‘Blu-ray Disc-KARA VACATION’ released on 1st September is up #1 on Oricon weekly ‘Blu-ray Disc’ idol image category.

Not only is ‘Blu-ray Disc KARA VACATION’ up #1 on Oricon weekly chart but also #11 in the overall chart, the highest an idol image disc has gone up on the chart.

According to officials, the highest an idol image disc has gone up on the aggregate chart is Haramiki Megumi ‘Beach Angels in Maui’ which went up to the #13 spot. ‘Blu-ray Disc-KARA VACATION’ includes a 90-minute footage of the girls’ CF shooting in Japan Okinawa and Guam in 2009 as well as a collections of images of the girls.

After staying in the hospital for 3 days, Raymond Lam left yesterday and around 30 reporters were already waiting for him. Raymond appeared in mask and neck brace. He expressed after being diagnosed, doctor confirmed it's cervical displacement and discovered two of his bones were on the nerves; Raymond needs physical therapy and lots of rest. When the therapist was straightening Raymond's back, Raymond felt great pain and almost fainted.

Raymond disclosed he hasn't went into the hospital for more than 10 years. The last time was when his mother gave birth to his younger brother and he accompanied her. Raymond said he did a full body check and everything is fine fortunately, just his immune system is not too good. He suspects when he was filming a motorcycle scene earlier, because the helmet he was wearing didn't fit him that was why it triggered the injury.

Raymond said he still need to return to the hospital for physical therapy. Now besides eating pain killer drugs, he also have to wear neck brace for protection and doesn't dare to drive. After he left the hospital and went home, he returned to TV city to continue filming <花花世界花家姐> (Colorful World of Sister Fa). He seemed very cautious when getting off the car. He sighed his schedule is very full so he needs to finish everything quickly. He also need to go to Mainland to film a movie. Although there are many action scenes, but he would try his hardest to finish them.

Upcoming movie "Ghost: Mou Ichido Dakishimetai"

Singer Ken Hirai (38) will be providing the theme song for the upcoming movie "Ghost: Mou Ichido Dakishimetai," set for release on November 13. This will be Hirai's fifth time doing a theme for a romance film, and the song is expected to be a hit like his previous ones.

"Ghost: Mou Ichido Dakishimetai" was announced earlier this year as an Asian remake of the famous 1990 movie "Ghost," which starred Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. The remake, however, has the roles of the couple reversed, with Nanako Matsushima (36) playing a woman who dies in an accident but revisits her lover, played by Korean actor Song Seung Hun (33). The full cast was revealed a few weeks ago, including Kirin Kiki (67) as the counterpart to Whoopi Goldberg's role in the original.

Hirai's song is titled "Aishiteru" and will be released as his 33rd single on November 10.

Pink Lady a newly recorded best album

The famous idol duo Pink Lady is back in action. On Wednesday, they held a press conference to officially announce their comeback, which includes a newly recorded best album.

Consisting of Mitsuyo Nemoto ("Mie") and Keiko Masuda ("Kei"), the duo was active from 1976 to 1981. Their debut single was the hit "Pepper Keibu," and it was followed by several other very popular songs, including "Carmen '77," "Nagisa no Sindbad," and "UFO." They even made their United States debut with a concert in Las Vegas in 1979. It has been known that KARA has been working on a Korean song even though they are in the midst of their Japanese promotions.

The girls recently released their Japanese debut single and the single is currently doing well up on Oricon and other Japanese music charts. And even though they are busy with their Japanese promotions, the girls have taken time out to record a new Korean number ’2ME’ and even filmed a MV for it. The song is said to be a present from composer Joo YeongHoon and is a lighthearted dance song.

New movie Raiou

Actor Okada Masaki (21) and actress Aoi Yu (25) attended an event in Tokyo on the 31st to promote their new movie Raiou. The two actors rode out together on the horse they used during filming. "There was a time during practice when Yu-chan fell off the horse. She made a very beautiful arc as she was falling down. I couldn't help but laugh as I was watching it. I'm probably the worst!" Okada jokingly reveals. Aoi recalls filming the rigorous action scenes in the movie. "I hurt my back when I fell off the horse. During one of the sword fighting scenes I also injured my foot. It's the first time I had to go in on crutches."

Raiou is directed by Hiroki Ryuichi and will open in theaters in Japan on October 22.
