Miss Hong Kong's Edelweiss Cheung
Samantha Ko often used several attempts to get attention while competing in Miss Hong Kong. Yesterday Miss Hong Kong's Edelweiss Cheung. Skye Chan, Sire Ma, Samantha Ko and hosts Sharon Luk and Yoyo Chen went to Malaysia to film a charity travel programme. Edelweiss had a stomach upset and only filmed for a short while. She returned back to the hotel afterwards. She said "Actually there wasn't a big problem, I rarely have a upset stomach. But to be honest I was not required to go on any amusement rides because I don't have the courage to."
Not sure if it was because Edelweiss had given up on challenging herself that Samantha started to grab attention again. U-Kiss perform title song "Not Young"
U-Kiss finally made their debut performance on August 28 for Mnet. They performed their title song "Not Young," showing off their cute dance choreography.

SNSD went to GaRak high school to perfom…Overall, it was a fail. During kissing you + babybay…fans were pushing each other and many people fell and got hurt. Some non fan shouted “this is why DC happened” + “Soshi fans are idiots”…In other words, it was a complete chaos. As the situation exacerbated, our girls were worried. Some fans said, “Sunny had this depressing look…” Anyways, due to chaos, they had to stop the performance; our girls went back in while the MC tried to pacify the wild crowd. Few moments later, our girls came back to peform GG and it was much better. However, many people kept pushing each other. As a result, some people left.
There was another performance at GyungBok high school. Overall, everything went smoothly. Although there were some rude fans, who stood up and blocked people’s view, majority of the fans behaved; unlike some fans at Garak who went berserk.

Niki took time out to film "Light" MV and TVB's new drama "KOP"
Niki has been extremely busy recently. Besides filming for TVB's new drama "KOP", she's also preparing for her album which is coming out at the end of September. Last week, she took time out to film "Light" MV and revealed that she's quite nervous about her album. "It's been almost 1.5 years since my last album, so I'm quite nervous. I'm really glad that I could work with so many top lyricist and composer, such as Khalil Fong composing for Light."
When Niki was filming the MV, the director required her to film it like she was filming an ad for woman's sanitary napkins to emphasize the topic, light. Niki said "I really like watching those ads. I think it gives audience a really happy and comfortable feeling, sort of like my personality as well". Also, this Saturday is Niki's birthday, she revealed that she will holds a fans gathering, just like in past years. Unfortunately she will be working on the actual day and hopes that she will have time to celebrate with family.

Local promoter, Click Entertainment, is suing Rain and demanding that Rain and his organizers, JYP Entertainment and Star M pay more than 4 million USD for the Aloha Stadium fiasco.
Rain and his previous management have avoided the call to court in Korea. And now faced with a court date in Hawaii., they will likely push to postpone the appearance. If granted, that would buy an extra 2-3 months. But, why postpone? He really should just be a man and take responsibility for his actions. 2PM join with 2AM form a mega boyband known as "One Day"
JYP has his pride on the line for "2PM", his newest boyband since the days of legendary G.O.D.
2PM finally released their much anticipated single album "Hottest Time of the Day" on August 29. JYP revealed that "this group is my pride and reputation" because 2PM is his newest boyband in 10 years since the creation of G.O.D. The title of their album "Hottest Time of the Day" implies that 2PM will reflect the bussle and activity of mid-day by working hard as a dance group.
2PM's title song is "10 points out of 10". And I definitely give them a perfect score - "10 out of 10" - because this song will be the next sensation Their single album contains 6 tracks, including "Only You" and "Angel". Their title song "10 points out of 10" is a fusion of rock(ish) guitar ripples, electronica, with a hip-pop beat that shows JYP's daring style.
The music video was created by the same producer, Jang Jae Hyuk, that made the MVs for Wonder Girls and Rain. It was set in the new W hotel in Seoul, showing a chic, trendy vibe. The MV is about the 7 guys in 2PM being awe-strucked by a gorgeous lady that walks into the hotel. They give her a "10 out of 10" for her beauty, simultaneously playing out their erotic fantasies. Aaron Kwok has become a Guinness world record
Hong Kong pop star Aaron Kwok says he has become a Guinness world record holder for performing on the largest indoor revolving stage.
Kwok celebrated his new title with a press conference on Wednesday in Hong Kong where, in February, he wowed fans by dancing on a 10 by 9.44-meter, 450-degree revolving stage during his De Show Reel tour.
During the show, the stage took Kwok back and forth as it switched vertically and horizontally for as high as 10 meters.
Holding the Guinness certificate, Kwok told reporters that it was a significant moment in his career.
The 42-year-old singer staged 16 shows during the De Show Reel tour between late 2007 and early this year, with attendees totaling 170,000.
He is set to kick off another world tour this Saturday, bringing with him the crew who built the world record stage.

TVB new series "The Legend of the Demigods"
TVB new series "The Legend of the Demigods" held a promotional event yesterday. The cast that attended include Linda Chung, Benny Chan, Nancy Wu, Halina Tam, Kara Hui and Stephen Au etc. One of the games they played was to transfer the fruit to the opposite table but weren't allowed to use their hands. Linda was careless and knocked over a plate of fruit. Stephen didn’t care about hygiene and used his toes to pick up the grapes from the floor. Linda and Benny cooperated very well together. Not only did they joke around on the stage but fed each other pieces of fruit while taking pictures. Linda stated that the series viewing rating were around 27-28 points but she had no time to watch her own performance.
Linda who has recently released her debut album went to Toronto for 2 days earlier to do a live show. She had the opportunity to sing 8 songs and felt it was like performing her own concert. However, she didn’t sing her own songs because she was worried the audience may get bored since they weren't familiar with them. Also her album was currently not available for sale overseas. Therefore, she sang other artists songs. "My fan’s in Toronto asked their friends in Hong Kong to help them buy my album. While I was doing autographs, many fans handed me the CD they brought for me to sign. I will certainly sing my own songs for them next time I'm there. Although, Linda was busy promoting her album and filming new series "Dogs on the Beat", she still found time to earn extra money by doing live shows. She claimed that she will go on vacation right after she finishes filming the new series to reward herself for her hardwork. She has chosen to go to Cuba with her family as it’s cheap and a beautiful place.

Actress Tang Wei became a citizen Hong Kong on Monday
One of China’s least favorite celebrities, actress Tang Wei (湯唯), became a citizen of Hong Kong on Monday, a change in status that should allow her to continue her acting career, which had stalled following her performance in Lust, Caution (色戒) in 2007. According to a report posted on Internet site Now News (今日新聞), Tang has had bans placed on her appearing on TV and other media because of her steamy performance in that film. As a citizen of the former British colony, it is suggested, she will now be able to pursue her goal of becoming the next Zhang Ziyi (章子怡).

Channel [V] all new program “哪裡5打 抗” has done its first shooting recently, with its host Owodog, Lil Jay/Brian and A-Wei from the group Lollipop, Apple is leading a show. Law Lim 43th Birthday
Yesterday was Law Lim’s 43th birthday and so all singers sang a birthday song for her on the spot. Her son accompanied her to attend the activity and has earlier given her a birthday card with a teddy bear as present. Law Lim’s wishes all her family and friends could live happily, healthily and hope all is well. She also mentioned that her family will migrate to one of the South-East Asian countries but not mentioned which country yet. Regarding the Gala of Olympics Gold Medalist which would take place on Saturday in Hong Kong, Ho Lai-Chuen stated that the list of singers was not confirmed as it depends on who the medalists wanted to cooperate with. Each singer has the chance to solo perform; still they have to wait for approval from the relevant department.

Yumiko, Kenny, William, Law Lam, Ho Lai-Chuen, Mandy Lieu, Takuya Suzuki and many more celebrities attended the Grand Finale of a Model Competition yesterday. Together Yumiko and Kenny poked fun of the scandal between William and Angelababy. Kenny jokingly said that he drove with Yumiko to feel the strength of the typhoon on that day. Janice Man, who has attended the “Sesame Street’s Annual Sports Carnival” closing ceremony, revealed that after two weeks of modeling assignments, she is now ready to dedicate herself again for the movie industrial. This includes Oxide Pang’s new movie, “ Fundamental Love ” which recently changed its name from “ Triangle Wrongs ” and the promotion over the dubbed movie.
In the new movie, Janice plays the role of a fishmonger. The leading actor and actress of the movie will be Rex from Square, and Elanne Ling who will be playing the role of a patient. Although it is big challenge for her, Janice will learn how to butcher a fish for the sake of a real realistic sensation. She says with a smile, ‘ It is rather embarrassing as I have never even lay on my hands on a dead fish before. But for the sake of this movie, I’m willing to learn how to. Luckily, the director provided me with gloves to catch and kill the fish. It certainly beats by using my bare hands.’
The change of environment to movie making was hard for her to adapt.

Leo Ku received Short Message (SMS) from Liu Xiang

Hwang Bo and Kim Hyun Joong 100th wedding
Originally scheduled for 10th August, Hwang Bo and Kim Hyun Joong 100th wedding photoshoot episode was pushed back for two consecutive weeks due to MBC’s Beijing Olympics coverage. JYP (Park Jin Young), CEO of JYP Entertainment officially revealed on the 25th (today in Korea) his latest creation 2PM, a 7-member boy band.
JYP released a photo of the group as well as a statement, "My pride hangs with this group. It is the first boy band I am releasing since g.o.d. which was 10 years ago." In addition, JYP stated, "Since this is the first boy band in 10 years, I put extra effort into the creation of this group. This group will change the meaning of the phrase 'boy band,' if they weren't different, I wouldn't allow them to debut."

Nam Gyu-Ri promoting Kim Bum movie GoSa
Nam Gyu-Ri (23), who is promoting her movie GoSa by going to cinemas and personally greeting guests apparently declared that “Wherever there are fans, I will go.” Upon hearing that noona was going to Jeju-do, Kim Bum (19) personally called his agency and said that “I have to go to Jeju-do to greet guests, too.” Guess he didn’t want to miss a chance to spend some time with an older woman who already admitted that he was her type of guy in Korea’s no.1 honeymoon spot.

Wonder Girls released the music video for “This Time”
On 22nd August, Wonder Girls released the music video for “This Time” which surprised many fans and created a lot of buzz. “This Time” is a song that garnered a lot of love along with the title track off their mini-album “So Hot.”
“This Time” MV begins with the Wonder Girls’ members in their everyday life and the storyline progresses when Sohee reads a book titled “This Time.” Actor Shin Dong Wook, who has a strong fanbase because of his great acting skills and looks, plays a designer who falls in love with a mannequin, played by newbie actress Kim Yun Ah, and as a result the love story becomes very complicated.
Another reason why the music video is creating so much buzz is because the winning contestant from last year’s “UCC music video contest for ‘Breaking up in the daylight’’ was the one who produced the music video.
A JYPE representative stated, “On December 2007 we held a contest called ‘The Breaking up in daylight music video challenge,’ where the winner got an award and was given the chance to produce an all-expense paid music video for one of the artist signed under JYPE.” The rep also stated “The contestant who grabbed our attention was Kim Eui Yun who eventually won the contest and was invited to produce the music video for ‘This Time,’ which is thought of as Wonder Girls second title track after ‘So Hot.’ The production team spent three months shooting the music video before it was released today.

Bernice never saw such a big crab!
Attracted many people who passed by as well as fans! It took Bernice 45 minutes to put on the kimono and it wasn't just her! She had three skilled Japanese workers helping her put the kimono on, layer by layer. "This is the first time it took me so long to dress up!" said Bernice. "Whenever I had to practice scenes for a series and/or practice takes for traveling shows, I never had to wear anything like it. In total there were four layers and the kimono as a whole was very heavy to wear. When I get married in the future, I definitely will not consider wearing a kimono!"

Ebi-chan changing fashion magazines
Highly popular model Yuri Ebihara (better known as Ebi-chan) will be changing fashion magazines later this year. Ebihara is currently affiliated with Shogakukan's CanCam publication, which is aimed at women in their late teens to early twenties. She will be "graduating" to CanCam's sister magazine AneCan, targeting women in their mid to late twenties.
AneCan began publication in March 2007. One of the first models to switch over to AneCan was Moe Oshikiri, who was previously part of a well-known CanCam trio with Ebihara and Yu Yamada.
Ebihara's last appearance in CanCam will be the December issue, which goes on sale in late October.

Linda Chung saw the release of her debut album today and she got her promotional campaign off to a great start by attending an autograph session at a record store.
During the event, many fans offered their compliments, including a pregnant lady and a foreign tourist, who commented that she was very pretty.
Linda revealed that she has received many text messages from friends who have already showed their support and bought copies of the album. She smiled that there are two versions of the album cover and she has prepared to buy around 100 copies of the record as gifts for her family, friends and colleagues.
Asked if rumoured boyfriend Raymond Lam is on her gifting list, she blushed a little before saying that he should have bought his own copy already.

BEIJING (Reuters) - South Korean pop sensation Rain has vowed to keep acting and trying to break into the U.S. market despite his debut Hollywood movie, "Speed Racer," crashing at the box office.
Rain is one of Asia's top-selling musicians and a fan favorite in TV dramas but he has struggled for U.S. fame despite being named as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2006 and in People magazine's beautiful people list last year.
This summer, Rain, 26, tested the U.S. waters again with a role in the big-budget $150 million Warner Bros. movie "Speed Racer," but the film failed to ignite audiences with its American debut weekend only pulling in about $18 million.
But Rain said this would not put him off. He has already filmed his next movie, "Ninja Assassins," again by the Wachowski brothers, best known for "The Matrix" trilogy.
"Regardless of its ratings, Speed Racer was my first movie and I think it is meaningful that I get to meet the Wachowski brothers who I really admire," Rain told Reuters in an interview at the Beijing Olympics where he was a guest of Games sponsor Samsung.
"Right now I'm only focused on Ninja Assassin which is very important for me and is coming out early next year. I have plans to star in other movies but there is nothing confirmed yet."
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has starred in TV dramas and movies in South Korea and played to sold-out concerts across Asia, where his boy-next-door image has won him legions of fans across language barriers.

Rain canceled his performance at the Samsung Beijing
Rain canceled his performance at the Samsung Beijing event today due to rain. How ironic. However he did make a two minute appearance at his hotel balcony to thank his fans who waited out in the rain for two hours in hopes of seeing him.
Han Ye Rin isn't the innocent little girl
It was reported that in real life, the fourteen year old (Korean age) actress Han Ye Rin isn't the innocent little girl that's loved by a lot of ajumma and halmoni, but a violent teenager, who smokes at school and bullies others.
It was said that last month, Ye Rin borrowed a skirt from her classmate, due to her unqualification of school appearance (her skirt was too short), and never gave it back. The classmate then took one of her friends and told the teacher about what happened.
Ye Rin got scolded by the teacher and was nowhere near accepting the blame, so she told her friends to get the two classmates that told on her, and beated them for three hours. This caused the one of the classmates to be concussed and both girls having many physical bruises.
After this incident was revealed, a lot of netizens went to Ye Rin's cyworld

It was said that last month, Ye Rin borrowed a skirt from her classmate, due to her unqualification of school appearance (her skirt was too short), and never gave it back. The classmate then took one of her friends and told the teacher about what happened.
Ye Rin got scolded by the teacher and was nowhere near accepting the blame, so she told her friends to get the two classmates that told on her, and beated them for three hours. This caused the one of the classmates to be concussed and both girls having many physical bruises.
After this incident was revealed, a lot of netizens went to Ye Rin's cyworld

Crown J and Seo In Young “We Got Married”
MBC “We Got Married” make-believe couple Crown J and Seo In Young have recently signed on together for a CF and still acting as a married couple.
Seo In Young and Crown J signed a six months contract with Woojin Household Appliances and they have already filmed one CF on the 19th and will film another for their LooLoo washroom products range on the 22nd.
According to Star Empire, “Woojin learnt about Crown J and Seo In Young from We Got Married and felt that their new generation couple image fits in well with their products. So they decided to sign them on to endorse their products.”
Two CFs would be released shortly to the public, marriage and dowry versions.

Ryu Si-won solo concert at the Tokyo Dome on Christmas Eve.
Singer-actor Ryu Si-won and hip-hop group Epik High will visit the Japanese market through separate performances.
Ryu, 36, will hold a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome on Christmas Eve.
``The Tokyo Dome is a difficult place for even Japanese artists to perform. Considering the size, budget and the season, Ryu's concert holds great meaning,'' Ryu's agency R's Company announced Tuesday.
Ryu is the second Korean singer to perform solo at the Tokyo Dome, following Rain last year.
The singer in June began an 18-city tour of Japan. Performing in 30 concerts over the past two months, he will finish his long journey at Tokyo's Budokan with a three-day concert ending Friday. The first hallyu star to perform for three consecutive days in the city, Ryu will also release his eighth album in Japan in October and hold a birthday party and fan meeting in Seoul Oct. 5.

Four months ago, Ella and male model Kagami Tomohisa became doggie in-laws. Kagami Tomohisa’s red Toy Poodle [Peony] was very fertile and earlier gave birth to three little red Toy Poodle puppies. This added a new member for Ella’s home when she excitedly brought back little [Tie Dan], the last pup to be wean off mother’s milk. Yesterday she laughed: [Tie Dan is really too adorable. Perhaps it was because he was not used to being wean off milk yet so he kept rushing up to his father Ah Gui and bit his {family jewel}. The pain caused Ah Gui to turn around and ferociously bites at little Tie Dan. His expression was really funny.]
The relationship between S.H.E has always been very strong. Even the dogs that they have as pets are of the same lineage. It all started with Selina’s beloved pet Pinky giving birth to three puppies. They each kept one of the puppies to symbolize the never-changing and continuation of their friendship throughout the generations. Sure enough, this thoughtful intention of Selina slowly blossomed and bore fruit. Ah Gui, the male pup chosen by Ella in the beginning [hooked up] with Peony, the red Toy Poodle of male model Kagami Tomohisa four months ago. Recently Peony gave birth to three pups. Ella was extremely thrilled. She laid claims to one of the male pup and named him [Tie Dan].
Tie Dan has an innocent look about him and according to Ella’s description, his dark eyes seem slightly cross-eyed yet also slightly slanting and he is super adorable. When he was brought home, his doggie papa was not happy at all and in fact, was a bit sulky about it. She laughed: [Because Tie Dan is too active, jumping and running all over every day. Furthermore, he is probably still not used to being weaned off milk yet. Every time he sees Ah Gui he would rush up to him and ferociously bite on his father’s...(birdie). The pain would cause Ah Gui to get angry and ferociously bites him back. The way these two dogs interacted is just too funny.]

Dancing behind Cool as backdancers
MC Mong revealed recently, “Before debut, I used to dance as back dancers for Cool in clubs.”
He revealed the surprising piece of his past on his radio show on SBS Power FM on 19th August, “I should put all these behind me but I was dancing behind Cool as backdancers before debut.”
“Back then in 1996, I took up many part time jobs here and there to earn money. And I went to JeJu Island with my friends and over there we got the part time job to be Cool’s backdancer which gives us an allowance of 40,000 won for working a week. Even though I couldn’t dance back then, I was taught to memorise all the dance steps - which I did, spending all the late nights memorising them.”
“I practised very hard for the ‘Destiny’ dance, and when Cool finally came to JeJu Island and Jae Hoon hyung saw us dance, he gave me and my friend thumbs-up, saying that it was good.”

The director of the movie "Taegukgi" is directing a new drama titled "Iris".
This action drama's production cost was very high filmed in China, Russia, Japan, U.S, and other foreign countries raising expectations for the audience.
Main character are Lee Byeong-Heon who was recently in the movie "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" and T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyeon), rapper for Big Bang. Lee will be National Security Secret Agent Kim Hyeon-joon and T.O.P will be a skilled murderer from an underground gang, Iris in the U.S.
The two are known to be body-building for the action scenes.
This drama which contains 20 episodes will be in the beginning of next year and will start filming on October.

Singer Shin Hye Sung (29) and 2006 Miss Korea winner Lee Honey (25) came together for a duet song.

Popular actress Maki Horikita has picked up her next lead drama role. She will star in the tentatively-titled "Innocent Love," scheduled to air in Fuji TV's flagship Monday night time slot this fall. As the title suggests, the show will be a romance story.
The script is an original work written by Taeko Asano, whose most recent hit was "Last Friends" this past spring. Like that show, "Innocent Love" will focus on the lives of modern youths. The shows also share a director (Yusuke Kato) and a producer (Toshiyuki Nakano).
The story centers around the tragic heroine Kanon Akiyama (Horikita). As a child, she lost both her parents to a murderer, and her older brother was arrested as the prime suspect. Shunned by her town as the sister of a killer, she heads to Tokyo and picks up a job as a housecleaner. There, she has a fateful encounter with a man, but the road to romance is fraught with difficulty.
This will be Horikita's first time starring in Fuji TV's key time slot. Last year, her popularity skyrocketed due to a starring role in "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e." Currently, she appears in the NHK taiga drama "Atsuhime." On Tuesday, distributor Toho announced that Hayao Miyazaki's "Gake no Ue no Ponyo" has raked in over 10 billion yen at the box office in the month since its release. More than 8.4 million people have watched the film in theaters.
The last Japanese film to gross 10 billion yen was the 2004 animated feature "Howl's Moving Castle," also directed by Miyazaki. "Ponyo" took only 31 days to so, compared to 33 for "Howl," suggesting that it may eventually surpass the 19.6 billion yen gross of the latter. However, it didn't quite meet the pace of "Spirited Away," which reached 10 billion in 25 days and went on to make 30.4 billion.

4-member girl group SPEED will soon be reuniting again
The 4-member girl group SPEED will soon be reuniting again. They will officially resume activity with an appearance on NTV's charity telethon "24 Hour Television" at the end of this month.
The group debuted in 1996 but broke up in 2000, at the height of their popularity, in order to pursue solo careers. They had two short-lived reunions in 2001 and in 2003. However, this time is said to be a complete return, with plans extending beyond 2009.
The decision to reunite started with this year's "24 Hour Television." SPEED previously hosted the program back in 1999, when they first met a young girl named Yui Nojiri who was battling spinal muscular atrophy. Last year, Nojiri reached her 20th birthday, and NTV producers decided to bring her and SPEED back for this year's show.
After learning about the idea, SPEED member Eriko Imai revealed that her own 3-year-old son is having hearing problems. Motivated to reach her son through song and to provide inspiration for other young children, she asked the other SPEED members to join her.

A Hong Kong version still of Gordon Chan's new movie "Huapi" or "Painted Skin" was recently released.

Swiss embassy in Seoul
Ara (who has for whatever reason dropped her last name, Go, professionally) was appointed a “Swiss Friends” goodwill cultural ambassador (i.e., promo rep) on August 18 at the Swiss embassy in Seoul.
She was greeted by Swiss ambassador Christian Hauswirth (who’s working the skeevy eye in one of the pics below, yeah?). Plus, at the ceremony, the article informs us, Ara partook of a “wonderful cowbell performance.”

“We Got Married” is now being accused of plagarism.
MBC Sunday Sunday Night segment, “We Got Married” is now being accused of plagarism. This plagarism claim was made by one Korean media and it spread like wildfire across the internet, invoking fierce discussions about it.
According to the claim, the basic concept amd some parts of “We Got Married” are very similar to a Japanese variety show called “Koisuru Hanikami” by TBS Japan in 2006. Both shows sets up male and female celebrities together and then hands them a mission to accomplish on that episode. The cameras follows the celebrities around the whole day plus having the same interview segments.
With regards to this, the PDs of “We Got Married” has denied the allegations and insisted that they have not watched “Koisuru Hanikami” before. But netizens are apparently not letting this go away so easily.
Most netizens gave their support to “We Got Married” expressing, “The program has already been airing for a long time, they claimed it’s plagarism because of one similar segment, this is ridiculous”, “Although the Olympics is good to watch, but we also want to watch We Got Married. Not only has it been pre-empted for the past weeks but now with these plagarism allegations, it’s quite a pity.”
There were netizens who were unhappy about this of course, “I thought the program was really innovative all this while. But now with these plagarism claims, it’s pretty disappointing”, “I thought the program was really good to watch, but since all these is copied, I don’t feel very good now”.

Denise Ho attended Megabox's "你 個 樣 樣" event yesterday. She claims that her appearance is quite ordinary and it's easy to find people that looks similar to her. In the industry Candy Lo and Faith Yang Naiwen are often mentioned resembling her but unfortunatley they have never had the opportunity to all perform on stage together.

Forbidden Kingdom's Relativity negotiates to produce on smaller budget
The Variety entertainment news source reports that New Regency, a production company based at Fox, no longer has plans for the live-action Voltron film project, while another company, Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Media, is negotiating to pick up the project. If Relativity Media signs onto the remake of the 1980s animated robot series, it will finance and produce the film with a lower budget and the use of technologies similar to those used in Zack Snyder's adaptation of Frank Miller's 300 comic. Relativity Media produced or co-produced over fifty projects in the last three years, including Ghost Rider, The Forbidden Kingdom, and Wanted.
Variety reported in April of 2007 that New Regency was negotiating for the rights to the project from the Mark Gordon Company, which is still involved with producers Mark Gordon and Jordan Wynn. The newspaper now reports that New Regency never completed the deal and could not reach an agreement with Voltron's Japanese rights holders. These talks began before the live-action Transformers film earned the fifth highest worldwide box office take of 2007, and before Warner Brothers began negotiating for the rights to another American adaptation of Japanese robots, Robotech.

TOKYO —Comedian Gekidan Hitori, 31, will be serve as a news presenter in the new program “Manaberu!! News!” on the TV Asahi network from October. The program will feature trivia stories related to recent news events.

Kara turned into Fin.K.L on the 14th August broadcast of MNet M! Countdown as they performed one of their most popular songs back then “Now”. Being in the same company (DSP Entertainment) as their predecessors, Kara had the backing of Fin.K.L when they made their comeback recently. Kara had made their comeback with a cute image as they performed “Now” which was a throwback to their first album image which got their fans excited. DSP Entertainment expressed that they had put in a lot of practise for this and were pleased with the results. It was a pretty good performance overall.

"Butterfly Lovers" starring Charlene Choi
"Butterfly Lovers" starring Charlene Choi and Chun 吳尊 will be in cinema on 9th October. They had so much fun filming together. Ah Sa had a reversed role that she dressed up as a man who went up to the mountain to learn the martial art. She was very popular among the other brotherhood. There was one scene that As Sa found Chun had a tear in his clothes, she went straight to mend it for him. Chun saw this little brother so good in repairing clothes, he didn't think it was the work from a man. But the other brothers took off their torn clothes, wanting As Sa to teach them how to stitch up. Now they are teasing her about opening a class for sewing.
Chun told reporter "I thought Charlene is big kid. But I couldn't beleive she could repair old clothes. She is even better than my mother." Charlene had participated well in the fun with the cast. She was quick to repair old clothes. The whole crew admired her. "I had in the past repair my own clothes. The more I do it, the more skillful I become. It is ashamed that I don't have much time now."

Jill has been on a diet and keeping fit. She has successfully lost 15 pounds in weight. Now she can afford to wear sexy clothes. She revealed when she was fat, she felt sick.
